I am good both at academics and extra-curriculars – Nidhi Bhanushali

Nidhi Bhanushali may have replaced Jheel Mehta as the studious Sonu Aatmaram Bhide in SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Neela Telefilms) but the popularity of the character has remained untainted. The actress has been playing Bhide’s daughter for about a year now.

Nidhi had always been a fan of the series and would follow it before bagging a role on the show. This eighth grader may not be a bookworm like Sonu in real life but she loves studying nevertheless. “It is quite simple to manage school and studies. Like other child stars, I study on the sets too. I am good at both academics and extra-curriculars.”

The actress avers that she doesn’t really have much similarity with Sonu. She enjoys essaying it as it is a positive character.

She looks up to her co-actors as they are ever ready to help her. “They guide and support me in whichever way possible. When I make mistakes they correct me.”
