I am a tomboy in real life too: Meera Deosthale
&TV’s recently launched show Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls (Cinevistaas) talks about the beautiful bond that sisters enjoy. The show has certainly touched the right chords among the audiences.
We got in touch with the Meera Deosthale, who plays the youngest sister in the serial.
In a candid chat, she spoke about her character and her bond with the sisters…take a look:
“I have earlier done a cameo in Sasural Simar Ka and an episodic for Zindagi Wins. It feels great working again for Cinevistaas. The work environment there is wonderful.”
Talking about her character, she said: “I am playing the youngest sister Eshwari Thakur, who is cool personified. She is a high school student and reflects today’s Indian youth. She aspires to be the biggest tennis player in the country.”
Do you relate to your character? “Yes, a lot…because I am a tomboy in real life too. I feel it is a damn cool role as you get to be blunt with your sisters and that is what you want (laugh). Be it on screen or off screen, I get pampered a lot. I have a great bond with all my sisters.”
Lastly, tell us why viewers should watch this show? “It has everything from comedy, drama, sisters bonding to youth issues.”
Good luck, Meera!
