Himmanshoo Malhotra on his brother Mohit Malhotra – “Hard work has got him where he is today”
Himmanshoo Malhotra who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage is currently enjoying his free time post the wrap up of his show. We decided to ask him what his plans are for the future and this is what he had to say.
Himanshoo told us, “I am waiting for the right projects to come my way. I have not planned anything, and am waiting for something good and substantial. I want to get my new project before IPL.”
When asked about miscommunication on the sets of Love Ya Arranged Marriage.. being the reason for the show’s wrap-up, he said, “No I don’t feel that could have been a reason. Having said this, there were so many actors and directors working under one roof and not everyone gels well with another. So differences are bound to crop up, but the low TRPs lead to the show’s closure. We were hoping for the numbers to increase, but that never happened. We can only put in our hard efforts, but certain things are beyond anyone’s control. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of shooting for the show.”
On his link-up with Samaira Rao, he stated, “It is rubbish and I would have told everyone if I was in a relationship. We were just co-actors who had a healthy relationship. I am a very private person and do not let such things affect my work. I was disturbed for few days when this news came up on your esteemed site. But my friends and family know that link-ups are part and parcel of life. The day I fall in love or get married, I will announce it officially. I am focusing on my work and career and am single right now.”
When asked about his bonding with his brother Mohit Malhotra, he averred, “He is very lucky as well as hard-working. I have seen him grow. Even during his Splitsvilla days, he was not serious about his profession. However, he is much focussed now, works on his look. Hard work has got him where he is today. I have always guided him, but have never helped him judge things in life. I am happy and proud of him.”
Here’s wishing you a great career ahead, Himmanshoo.
