Scene 1
Mai says what’s the problem? There will be a child coming. Mohini says I… I can’t be pregnant. Harphoul and I.. Mai says what? Mohini says no such thing ever happened between me and Harphoul. Harphoul says that’s what I was thinking. Shalini says was she with, someone… Mai says shut up. Have some shame. I trust Mohini completely. Shalini says so is this a miracle? Mohini says it is so easy to blame a woman and accuse her and leave her as Harphoul left me. Harphoul throws a table. He says Mohini I trust you. But we both know that nothing happened between us. Scene 3
Mohini is brought for sonography. The doctor says I can’t find the child. I can’t even hear the heartbeat. Mohini says that means I am not pregnant. Lights start sparking. Harphoul says let me check outside. Mai goes to get water. Mohini sees a spark in the sonography screen. She sees Devi maa. Devi maa says you will bring light to this planet. The doctor comes back in. Harphoul asks what happened? Mohini says that? The screen is off. The reports are still positive. The doctor is confused. Harphoul asks what happened? She says Mohini is pregnant but this report says it’s three months old. I’ve never seen a case like this. Harphoul says what?
