The beautiful Hina Khan, who portrays the character of Akshara in Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, talks about her experience shooting as a mother and also about her life as an actress in this candid chat with us…

How is your off-screen bonding with Naksh (Shivansh Kotia)?
I share a nice bonding with him. He is a cute kid who makes a lot of noise and talks a lot like all other kids.

You used to share a very good bonding with little Bani too. Any fondest memory with her?
I have lots of fondest memories with Bani and even with Harsh as well. I really miss them a lot. They are adorable. It was a tough call for them also because they also got very attached with us but the story had to move forward. I used to spend a lot of time with them.

Whom are you closest to on the sets of Yeh Rishta…?
No one, except few of my production people like the creative, the directors and my supervising producers.

What do you prefer to do when you get some free time on the sets?
I don’t get free time at all. I have kept a TV in my room, but I hardly switch it on any day. When on the sets I prepare for my scenes.

Any regrets in your career so far?
Not at all! I am superbly happy for what I have today and what God has given me. I had never imagined in my wildest dream that one day I will become so popular or will be able to earn money. God has blessed me and I wish that he keeps blessing me like this always.

What are your interests other than acting?
I love singing. Though I don’t sing very well but the lori song in the show was sung by me. I am not trained in music just like I don’t have any training in acting. It’s all God gifted; whether it’s singing or acting. God has been very kind to me.

Any craziest fan encounter you would like to share with us?
There have been a lot of such encounters. Even small kids have done some sweet things for me. There was a 5-6 year old little girl in Ahmedabad who gave me her clips. I can never forget that sweet gesture from her side. She didn’t have anything to give me but she gifted me her clips and I still have those clips with me.

Are you active on social media?
I am a person, who is totally away from any social networking sites. I am not on Twitter, Facebook or any other social media. I am a very private person and different from others and I don’t want anyone to know about my personal life but I can talk about my professional life. I feel so nice when I visit India Forums, and find myself in top 10 without giving any interviews.

Would you like to play a negative role?
I have never thought of it and I wouldn’t mind trying it. Being an actor, one should try everything. As, of now I have no such plans. I would prefer to play a positive character rather than playing a negative one.
