Fire on the sets of Kuch Toh Log Kahenge

Fire…smoke…and fear on the sets of Director’s Kut’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge (Sony Entertainment Television). Fresh reports have just come in that fire has broken out on the sets of this Kritika Kamra-Sharad Kelkar starrer show.

Kritika (who plays the role of Dr Nidhi) went on to tweet about the incident, “Fire on d sets of KTLK. Thankfully nothing major and no one got hurt.”

Well…we are glad that no one is hurt. This is just a flash piece of news and our reporters will soon get more information on the unfortunate development.

This is what happened. Today (14 September 2012) in the morning, around 11-11.30am, while Kritika and Sharad (Dr Ashutosh) were shooting for a sequence…suddenly flashlights from the top of the sets came crashing down. This led to electric sparks which triggered the fire breakout.
The situation could have caused havoc but the alertness of the technicians and spot boys saved the day.

Currently, shooting has been stopped for a moment but will resume soon.
