Fear Files to take the ghost-buster avatar

Zee TV’s popular paranormal show Fear Files is currently going through a big change.

Till now, this Contiloe Telefilms co-production would have well known actors playing episodic cameos, but now from the month end, this weekend drama will assume an avatar of a ghost-buster in the form of an investigative trio comprising Shabbir Ahluwalia, Munisha Khatwani and super natural expert Gaurav Tiwari who will try to unravel real unique paranormal cases based on real incidents.

Our source adds that in the new avatar of the show, all the three appear as themselves i.e. Munisha will be a Tarot Card reader, Gaurav will play himself as supernatural expert (he has already appeared in few earlier episodes of Fear Files) and Shabbir will be himself.

This 13 episode sub series of Fear Files marks a return to fiction after a long time for Munisha who was last seen in Yes Boss on SAB TV. Prior to this, she had also taken part in Survivor India on Star Plus. Shabbir was last seen in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi on Colors.

We tried to speak to Munisha, but she wasn’t available for comment. Abhimanyu Singh CEO Contiloe refused to comment saying, “Kindly ask the channel, as we have been asked not to divulge any details as of now.”
