Bari Rani Maa tells the family about the celebration of a festival. She in this pooja all men are considered equal, be it a princess or a maid everyone will celebrate it. Kunwar ji says his son has died a few days ago. Bari Rani Maa says life doesn’t stop if any single person leaves. Rana ji allows the festival and asks her to order anything required. Bari Rani Maa thinks that Gayatri has brought the twist in story, she will now play the game on.
Lakhan stops Kunwar ji in the corridor and asks about Swarna. Kunwar ji says he isn’t worth questioning him, but Lakhan deters Kunwar ji before leaving.
Savitri prepares Rangoli when Bari Rani Maa comes to her with a sword in hand, she drags her away aside. She tells Savitri that there will be a ritual tomorrow, the ladies who will fast must participate in a competition. All the ladies will attack coconut with the sword, the lady who breaks the coconut first in a single go, her wish will be fulfilled. Savitri asks why she is telling her about it. Bari Rani Maa says she wants her to take part in this. Savitri says she is a maid here and isn’t even a Rajputani. Bari Rani Maa says not by birth, but her acts show this. And she believes every lady is a Durga, who sacrifice for her family and love. She is rightful of taking part in this competition. She had already announced that no woman is different in this festival. Savitri holds the sword, Bari Rani Maa asks if she held this arm for the first time or has held it before as well. Savitri was afraid at once recalling how she had shot Rana ji. Her body shivers. Bari Rani Maa says sometimes an arm even hits one’s owns. She asks Savitri to practice. Savitri tries twice but the coconut doesn’t break. Bari Rani Maa shows her and breaks the coconut in the first go. She asks her to try it again. Savitri gives up saying she can’t do this. Bari Rani Maa says a talent is always taught and she knows who can teach her. Savitri says Bari Rani Maa is helping her, still why she feels so odd.
Rajeshwari wonders where Bari Rani Maa is taking Savitri to.
Outdoor, Bari Rani Maa asks Rana ji to teach Sarvitri to work with sword. Rana ji sends men for coconut. He asks Savitri if she has held the sword before. He assures her to trust on her. She remembers he had said it before as well. He stops her hand and asks her to keep an eye on her goal, not to shut her eyes. He comes just behind her to hold her hand.
Rajeshwari curtly watches this.
Rana ji tells Gayatri that a whole body’s energy has to be in a stroke of sword. He shows her how to work with it. Gayatri feels his hand on her shoulders and smiles. Bari Rani Maa goes to check some other arrangements. Rana ji asks Savitri to concentrate, she wonders how she would be able to do this? Rana ji asks what? She argues like Savitri, makes a stroke and breaks the coconut. Both laugh. Rana ji takes the sword and Savitri leaves.
Rajeshwari thinks Bari Rani Maa is playing some game with her, she won’t let Bari Rani Maa win this time.
The next day after pooja, Pandit instructs the ladies to break the coconut. Kokilla can’t break the coconut. Its Savitri’s turn. She looks at Rana ji who gives her a thumbs up, she prays for energy, takes the sword and breaks the coconut in first go. Rana ji cheers, laughs and claps. Bari Rani maa appreciates Savitri and asks her to serve it. Rajeshwari calls her to stop, she says the competition hasn’t ended. Bari Rani Maa says Rajeshwari doesn’t know to work with sword, Rajeshwari says she has played with swords in childhood; if she will get a chance? Rana ji says sure. Rajeshwari looks at the sword, then Gayatri. The coconut breaks open in the first attempt. Rajeshwari asks Pandit ji to serve her coconut, she is the princess and must get a chance as privilege. Bari Rani maa stops Pandit ji, she says Rajeshwari can’t serve Devi Maa. She worked with the sword well but disrespected the Pooja by calling for privilege, in this pooja everyone is equal. She was shocked at once and watches the coconut broken by Rajeshwari. It was rotten. She recalls filling it with color from inside herself. Pandit ji announces that Rajeshwari’s coconut has been rejected by the Goddess. Savitri says to Rajeshwari she told Rajeshwari that her inside was even darker than Savitri’s face. Bari Rani Maa calls Rana ji ahead. Rajeshwari stops to watch it curtly.
