Ek Mutthi Aasman 5th June 2014 Written Episode
Scene 1
Kamla prays to God, my both daughters love the sam guy and wanna make him their life partner. I can’t be with whats wrong. Vitthal and Pakiya come there. Vitthal says let’s go. Kamla says take care of yourself and of Pakiya and Kalpi. VItthal says God will take care of everyone. Pakiya goes with her to Kalpi. Vitthal prays for her safe journey. Kamla has left Kalpi’s parshad there at the praying place.
The convey has started its journey to the destination.
Scene 2
Nettu says Kamla has left and I can’t even get food. Kalpi is so lost in her love and I am dying with hunger. She says Kalpi I am so hungry are you maing anything. Kalpi nods. Vitthal says no one is anyone’s servant. Who ever is hungry can make for themselves. Make for yourself and make for us too. Nettu says don’t taunt. I will make it I know how to make good food. She burns the stove and puts oil in the pan. I will make for everyone.
Vitthal and Pakiya make fun of their cooking. She has burnt the dish. Nettu says its ready. Should I serve ? Vitthal says I ate on the work. Pakiya says I have to go to a birthday so I will eat there. Vitthal says me and kalpi are going to enjoy soda and you better enjoy your cooked food. Nettu says Kamla at least gave me good food and on time. Come back Kamla.
Scene 3
Kamla is in deep though a lady comes to her and says why are you so tensed ? You should keep your heart calm. Kamla says how can I ?Kamla says both my daughters want the same guy. Which wedding should I consider ? The lady says marriage is not just a piece if paper or a building on a road. It is based on love and the promise that they will be together forever. We meet a lot of people and there is just one person who stays with us forever. Where there is love and trust only that wedding is upright. There is no condition and restriction for it. kamla says I won’t be unfair with Kalpi this time and can’t snatch pakhi’s right. Show me the right path.
Kalpi is in balcony. she recalls the promise she made with Kamla and then how she hugged Ragahv. she says I have hurt Ai so much. What should I do that can lessen her pain.
Ragahv says I wanna meet Kalpi and share her pain. But I can’t give her rights to her. At least I can call her. He calls her but Kalpi disconnects. Ragahv texts her that this is not right I miss you so much. Kalpi says I can’t stand on this turn anymore. I have to choose a path.
Scene 4
Kamla and her convey reach the temple. Kamla enters the temple. She fulfills all the religious rituals, She gives pandit ji the parshad she has brought. She says I have come here with a lot of problems. I won’t go until you show me the path. A lady says 101 rounds of the temple will make all your wishes come true. Kamla says I will do it then. I will fast until I complete my task.
Ragahv is in the park and says I will see Kalpi after two days. Why hasn’t she come. Maybe Kamla maa has stopped her.
Kamla starts her rounds. She completes some. Its hot there and she looks exhausted.
There at the park Kalpi sees Raghav and Raghav smiles. Raghav smiles and says I knew you would come. Kalpi says tell me why you called me here. Raghav opens his fist. He says this is the wedding locket I made for you and Kamla maa returned it. You have all the right on it. Kalpi is quite bewildered. Kalpi says sorry Raghav I can’t accept it.
Why aren’t you accepting this. Just one year and we will be one. We love each other. I filled your hairline with sindur whats wrong with this wedding locket. Kalpi says its about my family noy just us. If our meeting hurts them then we won’t meet for one year. Ragahv is shocked at her words. Kalpi says I have decided that we won’t meet for rest of the year and won’t talk to each other. Raghav says what are you saying I won’t be able to live with you. He holds her. Kalpi takes his hand off. He says if you want me in your life then you have to bear this pain. We will live like we don’t now each other. You should complete your revenge in whole year and I will wait for you, until then we won’t come close to each other. Raghav says Kalpi I.. She says stop it Raghav. If it hurts Pakhi and Ai then we are not meeting anymore. He says how will I live with you whole year. Kalpi says just the way I will. You are pakhi’s husband and this is not right. It will hurt Pakhi and AI if they come to know that we are still meeting. If you love me the you have to consent with my decision. She is about to go. Raghav holds her hand and stops her. He says Kalpi please. Kalpi leaves.
Precap- Kamla is busy with her rounds. She is tired and hungry. The strong sunlight is exhausting her.

few notifications though..
1) kamla keeps telling kapli that raghav has cheated her and that she should not be in love with him..but hasn’t he cheated pahki as well? why does kamla not tell her the same instead of telling her to try to win his heart, isn’t pahki her so called daughter?
2) how could pahki be soo brainless…she knows that raghav loves kalpi and not her but yet still pushes up trying to see if she can win him. i guess that she is really kamla’s daughter..both of them are stupid the same way
3) gauri and raghav constantly reject and insult pahki but yet still pahki is still foolish enough to stay in a loveless marriage hoping some day that he will accept her (keep dreaming)…once again she really shows she has been brought up by kamla
4)pahki knows that raghav and kalpi love each other but yet still instead of getting out of the way and helping them she decides to stay and be a problem. doesn’t she consider kalpi as her sister? why doesn’t she help
5) kamla leaves kalpi’s offering and gives the pundit pahki’s offering and forgetting that she left kalpi’s own and yet still wants to go around 101 times to help make a decision knowing that she still wants pahki to stay with raghav

June 05, 18:186) pahki has made the biggest contribution into her getting herself her…remember the episode where kalpi called sammy and pahki was infront him asking where raghav and kapli was…all she heard was “that’s very good kalpi” and she automatically thinks that sammy is the guy that kalpi liked…she assumed without any real evidence and told kamla, all of her hurt now could have been avoided if she didn’t assume and if she actually knew who liked who and all misunderstandings would’ve been cleared

June 05, 19:39So true. I felt bad seeing Kamla leaving Kalpi’s offerings behind. That’s unfair. It’s like Kamla is trying to bribe the god by offering Paaki’s offering to make the god choose Paaki and by leaving Kalpi’s offering there would be none to give the god on her behalf.

(2) How can Raghav be so brainless , he loves Kalpi , but remains married to Pakhi
(3) Kamla constantly tells Raghav to stay away from her daughter , she slapped and insulted him , he got beaten by Vithall and Pakiya , but he returns all the same in the name of love .
Pakhi is also persevering in the name of her love .
(4) Pakhi and Raghav are both using each other . Raghav can divorce her and she can divorce him , but both seem content in their misery .
Raghav ( the man who loves Kalpi the most ) isn’t considering Kalpi’s feelings about him being with Pakhi , then how can we expect Pakhi to consider them ??
(5) In Kamla’s view , only Pakhi is married , and has the right to pray for her husband . If she offers Kalpi’s offering to God , it will be like offering something tainted .
She is rightfully seeking God’s guidance , which is something that Raghav is not doing .

June 05, 23:03The confusion with Raghav on the wedding did clear up eventually. But Kamla and paaki pushed the confusion. In Paaki’s case,why couldn’t a man like Raghav love Kapli? Why didn’t
Paakie consider Raghav first for Kapli rather than suggest Sammy? It’s because she kept him for herself. Kamla felt that because paaki liked Raghav she must automatically get him so when the truth burst out, she refused initially the wedding because Paaki’s happiness is priority and paaki must get the man. Because of these two the wedding was confused but I will also blamed everyone to some extent. Kapli and Raghav should have mentioned each other’s name in the first place.
I can’t say that the offering of Kapli is tarnished thus making it unsuitable to be offered at the temple because from every indication the god seems to have sanctioned that marriage ( Kapli and Raghav ) regardless of the realities and what others think. I think if Kamla had offered it there would be some indication that Raghav and Kapli are meant to be. But Kamla sort of disqualified Kapli by her own measurement of what ought to be and what ought not to be.
Paaki has no real love. She is just infatuated and wants to make herself happy by getting what she wants. Her pushing for a man to love her is just …. Well something a self center girl would do. Reference: in the office she didn’t think it was possible for Raghav to be interested in Kapli but only in her. 🙄 What paaki is doing to Raghav is forcing him to accept her.
Raghav made his intention clear he doesn’t love her and he is only using her to get his revenge. At least he set it out from the beginning. I won’t say he is brainless. His revenge was planned out alright, but then he realized the consequences for himself and wanted to change but was compelled to carry it out, because his mom threaten to kill herself. Don’t make lightly a woman who set herself on fire. But being a man he is perfectly in order. For many men don’t understand women and their emotions. Many men don’t understand what women look for in relationships. Men think women ought to think like them and women think men ought to think like them. That is why there are so many conflicts and misunderstandings about feelings and emotions between men and women in real life. So Raghav is in perfect order. He doesn’t see things the way Kapli sees them. He sees as a man would and often times men sees things without emotion and thus they can never understand why women are so emotional over things.
Given Raghav 20 plus years alone and without love of family etc.it would be unfair to expect him to be fully understanding of everything about relationship and bonds and feelings. Hence his oscillation which shows his struggles and changes in light of learning something new about human relationships and matters of the heart. But what Raghav is sure about if nothing else is his love for Kapli which once more came out tonight.
Remember guys, the beast had his own thinking and own way of seeing things. It took Belle to get him on the right track when it came to love, emotions and relationship. Our belle Kapli is thus helping our beast Raghav to understand what other things come with love. Yes, he started out one mean way but he is changing as he learns. Paaki on the other hand, remains the same: thoughtless, selfish and thinking only of herself. And this separation now with Kapli will all the more push Raghav to getting things streamlined in his life. That’s a good effect Kapli has on Raghav. This cannot be seen in Kamla- paaki relationship. Once again , even in worst of situations Raghav and Kapli are trying their best to consider others (even if Raghav is slower at learning this, and even if it takes time. Just look at how in their own ways they begin to consider others) but Kamla and paaki are only considered about themselves. Actually both of them considered paaki only. Kamla considering paaki and paaki considering paaki ( herself)

The deity did bless the union of Kalpi and Raghav , to be wife and husband , and not for Kalpi to be a mistress .

June 06, 10:20seems to me that the real culprit behind this entire failing marriage, failing love story is not kamla but GAURI, everything was going smooth and all nice before she sowed up in grown up raghav’s life, with all her emotional blackmail and suicidal threats, to me they shouldn’t have even bring her back until kalpi and raghav was married, kamla had already given her consent to this marriage, it was just for them to tie the knot…..bottom line is that GAURI caused this mess, if kamla is guilty than gauri is even more
however raghav does have a mind of his own and so does pakhi, i do agree that raghav should get a divorce and get out of this loveless marriage, but yet he doesn’t, and it doesn’t look as if pakhi is going to, i’m jut waiting for that time when pakhi will decide that she has had enough and start making gauri’s life hell

All I’m saying is Kamla knows the situation between Raghav and Kapli and Raghav and paaki. She understands why Raghav had to do what he did. And who is behind it. Can’t you tell paaki to leave this thing alone and get out of the marriage? Why does she want paaki there? Kamla saw for herself what transpired and was spoken at the temple. She dissuades Kapli from a relationship with Raghav citing how horrible and terrible he is. Yet she encourages paaki to win the love of this same horrible man. She would accept Raghav if he loves paaki but does not accept Raghav for loving kalpi. Listen…Kamla isn’t doing this for Raghav or Kapli’s happiness and well being. She is doing it for Paaki’s well being and happiness. This show should be called “I will do anything for paaki”. Or it can be called ” ek Mutthi Aasmaan for Kamla and paaki”
Other possible titles are:
* how I trampled on everyone for paaki
* how to sacrifice your daughter for for another woman’s happiness

She shuld not do it though, to get RAghav and Kalpi together but to save Paakhi from all of the above, (if she really cares fr Paakhi she would do that)

June 05, 16:35Once again, I agree. You know..too many focused on Raghav’s mistakes and condemn the poor man. Some thinks Kapli is bad to want to stay with Raghav despite this and we all keep talking and condemning these two. Dealing with the branches we must do. But there are roots to these problems that must be critically tackled. Kapli would not be in this situation if Kamla had made her feel like the true daughter she is. Kamla gave that right to paaki, who is not her real daughter. For example, ok…let’s say that Kapli erred in her actions with Raghav, why doesn’t Kamla make Kapli the priority in her prayer? She will pray for Kapli no doubt, but prayers for Kapli will be chucked behind the more fervent prayers for paaki. Isn’t that true?
Raghav is blamed for his mistakes which he won’t have made if there weren’t “others” there that pushed him to do what he did. I’ve always said at the end if the day, we are responsible for the decisions and choices we made, but that doesn’t mean that the people who cause us to stumble and fall, and puts us in these situations, and causes us to make those decisions are less culpable for the way situations turned out. Those people are VERY much culpable for everything that happened. Therefore, perhaps we need to put Raghav and Kapli aside for a while and turn all attention to Kamla, Gauri and the Kapoors for being solely responsible for what is happening.
As for paaki, unless I see so remorse in this girl for the situation and unless I see some deep remorse for what she has done to Kapli, i will never feel sorry for her. Even now, she is thinking of herself. Kamla hurts Kapli but yet Kapli is respectful to her mother. Why can’t paaki show respect to her own mother? Further, why doesn’t Kamla correct paaki when she shows disrespect to Neetu? Instead, after hearing what paaki says, she nods and smiles and then turns around and hurt Kapli. Hmmmm…paaki and Kamla are very much alike. Kapli is so different. I really wonder who is the real daughter? I’m saddened that Kamla could not give more attention to Kapli in her prayers. I’m just saddened.
I will never ever forget that scene and kamla’s face and reaction when she slapped Kapli and shouted that paaki loves Raghav and paaki has to get him. I will never ever forget that. For the first time, that registered in my head what and who Kamla really is: a woman that would do anything and I mean anything for paaki, even to the point of condemning and sacrificing her own daughter. I was literally shocked at watching that scene that that is one scene I will never watch again.

June 05, 12:58If the main reason for Kamla considering Pakhi her daughter is because she was nursemaid to her, does every nanny/nursemaid feel the same way? This is cause for great concern as millions of mothers leave their kids in the care of caregivers.
If the “impartial” Kamla is seeking Gods help and guidance for her daughters, why did she leave her own daughters offerings behind. Its like she telling God “I want you to help my daughters, but God, I really really want you to help Pakhi. You see I even brought you the offering she sent especially for you. (Wink, wink, nudge, nudge)”
For all the hardship Kalpi has endured, she has become stronger, tenacious, well rounded. She will falter but not fail. She knows what its like to do without, to long for, and be deprived off. She’ll be able to work this situation out with Raghav. She has more class and dignity than Pakhi does, this is what drew Raghav to her in the first place.
Soon Kamla and her like will eat humble pie. Raghav and Kalpi will be together because God ordained it and Kalpi will help Raghav do the right thing. Behind every successful man is a strong, hard working woman!!!

Kapoors cheated them many times.. They made her sign wrong papers once..neetu made kalpi her maid when she was a kid.. But stills kamla trusts them and gives shelter.she can forgive kapoors for their sins but she cannot forgive taghav for his mistake. OMG such a hypocratic character. She thinks evrybdy shud understand her moral lectures but they don’t hold true when it comes to her turn.. I am waiting for a scene where someone slaps kamla so that she comes back to her senses..

Kamla did not give birth to Paaki. Yet she behaves at though she is the real mother. She asking guys to marry Paaki, calling up Paaki. Kamla is fulfilling all the real duties towards Paaki although Paaki has her own biological mother to do all of this for her. Yet Kamla does not regard Neetu and continues to fulfill the duties of a mother to Paaki (who is NOT her REAL daughter).
Question for Kamla? When you didn’t give birth to Paaki what makes you think you are mother to Paaki? When you are not bounded or bonded to Paaki by giving birth to her (which is what makes a woman a mother), what causes you to act as you are towards her, and like her mother, even though she has her mother? And no matter what people say, you STILL are being a mother to her. You disregard Neetu to be Paaki’s mother.
Aren’t you Kamla basing your motherhood MORE than the physical act of giving birth? You are basing your motherhood on your connection to Paaki, your love for her, you raising her and feeding her and etc, etc.
THEREFORE, what then is different in Kalpi’s case with Raghav? Using the same principles of what made you mother to Paaki despite you not giving birth to her, why can’t Kalpi be the wife to Raghav? Why can’t Kalpi be the wife to Raghav based on love, sindoor application, understanding, support, etc, all of which are present except a physical piece of paper? Why is it wrong to tell Kalpi to stay away from Raghav because a paper exist between him and Paaki? Why can you (Kamla) stay away from Paaki because the umbilical cord is between Paaki and Neetu?
If you Kamla based your motherhood on everything else and did not pay cognisance to the physical birth, then why can’t Kalpi based her position and marriage to Raghav on all the elements that makes for a marriage between a man and woman, without a piece of paper? I think when Kamla gives up Paaki, then Kalpi can follow suit. And if Kamla can’t answer this and give up Paaki, then Kalpi DO NOT GIVE UP RAGHAV. We are working with Kamla’s principles.
Writers, I am watching you and these contradictions, so if Kamla can her her way and being made to look right in her actions when she is really disregarding the rules, then why are you doing this to Kalpi?

so kamla and neetu were pregnant at the same time and kamla was dropping home neetus son because that was her job .. to drop kids home after school. Anyways so neetu maid her her maid when she seen her and told her she had to take the stairs so one day while still very pregnant kamla had to walk all those stairs to meet neetu’s house and she was in pain and had to go to the doctor ..same time in neetu’s house she was getting ready to give birth. THUS, paakhi and kalpi was born on the same day.
Now with regards to kamla loving paakhi … she feed paakhi as a child. Her own milk was a connection to her. She considers her as a daughter because she took care of her too. When she sent kalpi away to study she only had paakhi with her. That’s why their so close..

At this point, there is no equity in treatment between the girl. Their is favoritism. And you clearly brought out all the more what I said. There were many other things that made Kamla consider Paaki her daugther. Regardless of whether the situation is right or wrong in Raghav and Kalpi’s case, the principle has not changed. Feeding milk, chooing, singing, whatever it was, does not make Kamla the real mother and since Kamla calls herself the mother to the point that she does things as a mother would for the girl, what made her do that? The same can be said of Kalpi’s reaction to Raghav. What things make the two of then connected as man and wife when there is a paper between Paaki and Raghav? The principle is the same.

June 05, 09:45I knew it I knew it I just din’t say it, Kamla left Kalp’s offerings. That is so wrong, she should have taken it at least, pray for her daughter’s happiness, she din have to pray for her to be with Raghav but at least man. Pray for your daughter.
I know also that no one can pray for anybody else, but if that is what is portraying her, Kamla is dead wrong. When Kalpi will see that she left her offering, how would she interpret it. Oh well I guss Kamla prepared the child for this harsh reality anyways.
Will ahve to see this episode and Neetu, sure sounds like a funny scene.
