Rama is working in the Godown when she wonders if he would have gotten the license, Karuna thinks of how Meghnath was asked to eat the Pan and feel that he belongs to the upper class, Rama says she will do the work then go out, Bhim entering says that Rama will not go outside, Karuna then calls Lakshmi asking her to tell them that she has the higher post then her orders should be accepted, Bhim informs Karuna that her work was not so important that it should be accepted right now as it is wrong, Karuna replies then she will be the one who is against him as this is not the right thing but she needs to have the Pan, Bhim asks why does Karuna want to eat the Pan, Rama replies it is because she saw Meghnath eating the Pan and wants to feel as if she also belongs to a position that is higher then them all, Karuna replies Rama can talk with Bhim only after she brings the Pan for her, Rama replies she will not do it and is not scared of anyone, the owner coming of behind says if it is the case then Karuna tries to instigate him saying he should fire Rama right away, Bhim stops Rama saying that he is going to promise her that no one will be able to fire her from this factory today when she did not make any mistake, Karuna tries to push Rama when the owner replies he can fire her without any mistake, Lakshmi tells the owner that the fight of their house is being brought here but the owner says that he can also see the owner of Rama is causing a scene, Rama asks Bhim to leave saying she will also apologize and bring the Pan, Bhim requests the owner to come with him to the corner but the owner refuses saying if he wants to beg alone then can do it right now, Rama asks Bhim to leave when he says he wants to talk of something important, Bhim informs today when was he coming out of the house then his father gave him a new pen, then he asked why did his father bring the new pen, Ramji told him that when he used to work in the army then his commander would ask them to hold both the new and old weapons in their hand and understand their right place so the old pen of Bhim got old so now a new one will take its place, Ramji jee even takes out the newspaper in his hands, saying Bhim will get the license and even publish the newspaper bu he should understand the true meaning of the newspaper, so the people should read the newspaper because of the ability to answer and it must cause fear in the hearts of other people. Ramji says that Bhim has always thought of the pen as his weapon but now should even think of the newspaper as the weapon, he needs to make a balance between them both.

Bhim says that he can write an article of his factory that a worker is fired for not bringing the Pan, the owner asks if Bhim is scaring him when he replies that if he does not get scared then what would they work, Bhim informs they have to work according to their principles which are the responsibility of the owner and the manager, Karuna requests the owner to not be worried as they bear this situation each and every time in the house, the owner asks Karuna to not bring her family problems in the godown, Karuna then orders the other worker to bring Pan for her, she angrily sits back on the chair. Rama asks why did he come, he says he always shares his happiness with her and she comes to him when he is sad while even cook for him at the odd hours in the night so now when he has gotten the newspaper license then would he not even show her, Karuna is shocked seeing it and not able to believe what is happening, Lakshmi and Rama are joyed when Rama says he should have waited for her to come back home, Bhim says he only thinks a few times with his heart, Bhim apologies to the to her workers for what happened here, but the lady says there is no need to be sorry because they have never heard such things from her husband however felt nice when she saw it today and even felt peace, she asks Bhim to come here to meet his wife as in their life there is not such a relation so they would get happy seeing both Bhim and Rama.

The people of the upper class plan to sit here and run after snatching the money from Bhim, they try to snatch the bag from Bhim who starts struggling with them but no one is around there, they start running with the bag however Bhim tries to catch them but they manage to go away from him while he keeps yelling at them to stop. Bhim is worried.

Ramji is sitting in the Chawl when Puran comes asking if he can talk with Ramji so explains that the people where he works are really impressed by him, Puran says that he has talked with his officers for the job of Bhim Rao, and they agreed so Ramji says he is preparing the expense of how much it will cost when Bhim goes abroad to study, Puran says he feels bad after seeing Bhim like this when Ramji replies even he feels bad but cannot change their desires due to t, so they should let Bhim do it as per he desires, Ramji says that Puran should become hard. Shishupal comes running when Ramji asks what happened, Shishupal says that some people were talking that the money Bhim Rao got to open the newspaper have been stolen hearing which Jija Bai along with those against Bhim start smiling.
