Bhim Rao along the females went over to Maharaj, Mangesh, Puranjan, Ramji with rest of the family joined him. the females knocked on Maharaj’s door, he inquired. The village gathered around. Women wanted to investigate his house. Bhim Rao asked females to go inside, Maharaj stands with right and virtues why would he stop them. The women went inside. Maharaj inquired the police officers. Bhim Rao replied that he would know what happened in a while. The attackers were brought out, females questioned them. Maharaj said that these claimed to be needy and hungry, based on that Maharaj gave them shelter. He asked the police officers to take them. Bhim Rao said that he promised to make Maharaj leave this villages, but for that he has he is put people’s heart as well. No matter what explanations he gives to defend himself, these women won’t believe them. Bhim Rao said that Maharaj’s bowl of sin was full. Sethji, Pandith arrived with all the husbands. The men sked their women to return home, they bashed and insulted them. Maharaj said that the drama has ended, women will return to their homes. Few beatings will bring them back to their senses. Bhim Rao said that Maharaj was not aware of their objectives.

Bhim Rao had already advised the women to stay strong when their men will come to compel them to withdraw from this protest, they must show them the mirror that despite being their husbands they weren’t supportive to them hence they will not agree to their demands as well. The women were worried that by doing so their husbands would leave them. Men considering divorce a women’s weakness takes advantage from it. Bhim Rao asked them to stay strong.

A woman spoke to her husband that she has cut off all relations from him. all the women proceeded; the men were astonished. The women said that the men will take care of their children themselves, the women must not be bothered. One husband was about to slap her wife, but she grabbed his hand putting an end to this violence. She warned him about the violent behavior. Bhim Rao asked the men to compromise with the women if they want them to return, they must support them closing the alcohol business otherwise they will lose their wives forever. Bhim Rao and the women were leaving. They were stopped, the men promised to stop drinking and support their wives in the protest. Bhim Rao came to Maharaj, he said that now half the populations want proscription of alcohol.
The women destroyed the all the alcohol while the villagers watched. Sethji was furious.

Bhim Rao wrote in his book that alcohol was the biggest criminal. A mailman came with a letter addressed to Ramji. It was a call letter offering Ramji a job in Kora village. Jijabai said that they were thrown out of that village, why return back? Mangesh calmed her, he said that such mistake would not repeat. Mangesh offered to accompany him for protection. Puranjan asked him not to leave the family alone owing to today’s incident. Bhim Rao said that Ramji has a job here as well, he was concerned about his father’s wounded skull. Th people of Kora village wouldn’t have changed, they threw them out for their lower caste. Ramji was a fighter; he will hesitate in time of need. Ramji inquired it Jijabai wanted to accompany him. Jijabai was against fighting, she despises the conflict between everyone in this village but as a wife she will accompany her husband and support her. She went inside for packing. Bhim Rao asked if he could accompany him as well, staying away from Ramji reminds him of his mother. Ramji didn’t want to leave his children as well but for now he cannot take them, once he sorts his life their and fins a good place to live, he will call everyone to move in. A villager standing near thought to inform Maharaj about Ramji’s departure from Satara, leaving Bhim Rao alone. Bala wanted to leave Satara as well, he ought to talk to Ramji about it.

Maharaj stopped the villager heading towards Maharaj to inform him about the news. He slapped him. he knew he was Maharaj’s reporter. Mangesh asked him to warn Maharaj regarding Bhim Rao. He will beat him to death.

Ramji thought about Bala’s wish to leave Satara, he thought that by doing so Bala might reconnect with his family. Tulsa and Manjula came to Ramji crying. They saddened that Ramji, Jijabai and Bala were leaving them alone. They heard Bala and Ramji’s conversation. Ramji consoled them, Bala wasn’t leaving them alone but was taking a step forward in his life as an adult. Tulsa and Manjula have to take care of the family with their education and everyone else in the family. Bhim Rao, Anand and Meera were here with them. Tulsa and Manjula hugged Ramji, Jijabai wept.

Bhim Rao knew that the needs and responsibilities of the family were the reasons Ramji had to leave and find a better livelihood. He has to live without his father once again.
