In this episode Lakshmi comes to Anand sitting downstairs asking if he misses a friend. She asks Anand to share his feelings with her, invites him upstairs for dinner. Anand is feeling better, he urges to find work with Lakshmi. She forbids him to work until all well. Phuliya offers them both work in her shop. Lakshmi asks Phuliya not to burden herself because of them. Phuliya has a lot of responsivities, Joku leaves to work at the alcohol shop. Lakshmi agrees. Joku interrupts, he refuses to let anyone work in his shop. Phuliya questions since he isn’t at the shop because of his job in the alcohol business. Hitesh tells Joku about his wife taunting and disrespecting him for his work. Janardan thinks that she is doing it to make him stop working. Phuliya questions his friends for turning him against his wife. Joku orders Phuliya to go inside questions her for talking against his friends. Phuliya angrily asks Joku to come inside, he pushes her. Phuliya’s screams brings everyone out, he was about to hit Phuliya. Bhim Rao stops Joku. Hitesh and Janardan show Joku his support.
Vaijnath praises his son for feeding chawl members maximum alcohol. Vaipal assures that destruction will prevail in chawl. Bhim Rao’s dream to promote education and knowledge will shatter. Vaijnath laughs.
Phuliya cries asking Joku to kill her once. Joku couldn’t agree more, he picks a sickle to kill Phuliya. Ramji stops Joku and slaps him for trying to kill his wife being intoxicated. Joku may not be in his senses but asks Rami to control and teach his wife how to live like one. Joku fells unconscious on the ground while speaking. Hitesh asks Joku to wake up or people will consider him a coward. Ramji leaves. Bhim Rao sends Rama to take Phuliya home. Phuliya cries from the sheer pain in her back. Bhim Rao sends Hitesh and Janardan inside. He notices Nandu not being in chawl, went to search for him.
Vaijnath had enough, sends Vaipal to make dinner. Shishupal asks his father to bring back their mother. Vaipal forbid his brother to talk about that characterless woman. Shishupal questions, that haven’t met their mother in years. Vaijnath considers his wife dead; Shishupal should consider her dead as well. Vaijnath is happy without her.
Bhim Rao find Nandu sitting beneath a tree crying for his brother Malo. He wants to meet his brother, recalls beating and scolding him. Nandu was wishes and did best for Malo, didn’t want his brother to work. He wanted Malo to study, be like Bhim Rao. A labor has nothing good for himself, Bhim Rao knows better. Bhim Rao recalls Guruji telling him about Vaijnath and his dirty work. Bhim Rao thinks that Nandu ha a major part behind Malo running away, not everything can be blamed on fate. Malo was not as wise as everyone else but was a righteous one, maybe that is what making Nandu feel bad. Bhim Rao asks Nandu to hope for best and come home.
Rama waits for Bhim Rao, Lakshmi comes questions her for being worried. Rama tells that Bhim Rao left without informing. Lakshmi asks her not to worry. Rama feels scared to leave Bhim Rao outside alone in presence of Vaijnath. Lakshmi assures that nothing will happen to Bhim Rao, he must be coming back. She sees Bhim Rao approaching with Bhim Rao. He questions Lakshmi and Rama for standing outside. Rama asks where he was. Bhim Rao went to find Nandu, they must go inside he sleep. He asks Nandu if he understood. Hitesh heard Bhim Rao.
Next morning, Joku wakes up remembering about the night. He tries to get upstairs. Phuliya brings him tea. Joku apologies for the night, he drank too much. Phuliya asks him to let go. Joku yells at her for lecturing. Phuliya informs Joku that Lakshmi and Anand will work in the shop. Joku questions, they don’t need a worker here, Shishupal will give them food. Phuliya is rightful owner of the shop, she refuse to close it. Shishupal enters chawl ordering everyone to go to work. He questions Jijabai who was standing outside Nandu’s house guarding alcohol. Shishupal appreciates Jijabai work, hence has decided to pay her daily. He shows her two days money, throws it at her. Bhim Rao stops him from throwing someone earned money at them. Shishupal questions Bhim Rao for his double standard. Bhim Rao cares about people and their respect. Jijabai doesn’t care, she doesn’t mind money being thrown at her. She picks her money from the ground.
