Rama tells Bhim that Karuna slapped Lakshmi in front of everyone but now it is enough and she in anger told her that she will mend her ways, Bhim asks Rama to not be so angry as she will not be able to do anything, he says he has brought something for her and then gives her the salary, he asks if she would not question why it is so less when Rama replies she already knows it, that he has given them to Shishupal. Bhim says this is the best thing of their relation as they know what each other is thinking about without saying anything, Rama explains even she wants to give him something so she takes out her salary, explaining the manager said that he would increase her salary from next month for which she tanked him but she knows he is doing it purposefully to cause arguments amongst them all, Bhim says what can he say on this topic but is just going to say that Karuna is their sister in law and she should support her if she needs their help.
Meghnat is sitting outside resting with the worker when Shishupal comes back home with his salary so goes to tell his father something, Meghnat mentions Shishupal is walking with Bhim so would have gotten habitual of giving lectures but he does not want to hear anything, Shishupal shows Meghnat his first salary, explaining that when they were young and their mother was still present then they would plan what they would do, he says he has earned for the first time with his own effort so is giving one part of it to him, he requests his father to take it as the arrangements are just one part but he for the first time has earned, Meghnat stops the worker and goes to Shishupal while holding his hand, he places the coins with a smile on his face. Meghnat questions if Shishupal actually remembers what they planned they would do with his earnings or is just saying it, Shishupal says he remembers when Meghnat would say he will do enjoy while his mother planned to make a necklace, Meghnat getting furious asks if Shishupal thinks he would do those things with this little earning.
The elder brother of Sethji says that he has to give Bhim the work of a lesser person once again while fire Shishupal and also demand the advance, Sethji gets worried.
Meghnat asks Shishupal to stand here and listen to the sound of his little earning, he throws the coins on the floor before leaving inside the house. Shamla goes to pick the coins while looking at the house, she going back to Shishupal asks him to come inside but he is just very emotional, she holding his hand asks him to gather the courage and come inside, Shishupal is not able to control his feelings but is force to enter.
Puran returns while laughing when Jaggu tells Puran that today he will eat on his house, Shoba asks Puran if he has had a rink when Jaggu says it is due to their friendship because from today he is friends with Puran, Shoba questions how would they be friends of anyone when Manohar asks Puran to tell them friends can be with anyone and he mentions they should mend the relations, Puran goes with Jaggu to have the dinner, Phulari is smiling thinking that just as he eats the dinner then everything would work, Shoba wonders what has happened to him when Jaggu tells Phulari who says the inner is ready.
Shamla asks Shishupal to forget what happened because Baba did what he felt best and if they donot keep any hope then would not feel pain, Shishupal replies he is his father so how can he not hope for the food, Shamla mentions he is just a person of the elder class who would understand with time, Shishupal takes out the first earning which he gives to Shamla, he says it is little but would be a lot one day. Shamla says she is sure it would be a lot some day it is a lot explaining that even a little earning is a lot for a wife.
Phulari serves the food to Puran and Jaggu after which she says the water has ended and asks Jaggu to go and bring it when Puran also asks if he can come with him but Jaggu asks him to sit and then Jaggu asks Phulari to take care of the plan, he leaves when Phulari runs out of the house crying asking him to save her, Jaggu along with everyone rush to her asking what has happened when Phulari blames Puran to misbehaving with her, hearing which everyone gets shocked. Jaggu questions Puran what has he done with Phulari when Puran tries to assure that he has not done anything of the sort, Jija Bai says that h is already a criminal but Bhim says that he has been freed from the court, Jaggu angrily says that he does not want to hear anything and they demand that Puran should be taken to the police when Manohar and Janardhan says that he should be ousted out of the Chawl. Puran requests Bhim to trust him when he says how can he do it when all the evidence is against him, Ramji recalls when he saw Jija Bai with the people of the Chawl, Jaggu and Manohar throw him out of the house when Ramji stops Bhim saying that he does not feel that Puran would have done anything of the sort when Shoba and Deepak also say that they are sure that Puran could not have done anything of the sort when Puran tells everyone that he is innocent, Phulari asks if a women would risk her own self respect, Shoba turns to Bhim saying that he knows Puran very well when Bhim replies they donot have any proof and Phulari is correct saying that a women would not risk her own self respect, Jaggu angrily warns Puran to leave and not show his face here, Puran agrees to leave but Shoba stops him saying that everyone is lying and she knows them all very well because they all hate everyone, she is sad that those people who know him are also quiet. Bhim tries to leave when Rama stops him saying that it is not true justice, however Bhim says he cannot do anything so walks away. Rama is worried along with Puran while Jija Bai is smiling.
