Ek Mahanayak – Dr. B.R. Ambedkar 5th February 2021 Written Episode

The episode starts with Meera speaking to Ram ji about migrating from this place, otherwise people will continue degrade their children. New place will call for new struggles, but at least children will get rid of their mother’s soul and ghost. Ram ji thinks about coming to the village with Bhima bai. Later, one day Bhima Bai was upset and spoke to Ram ji that they had been wandering from place to place to find respect and grace for their children. When she came here, she decided she will never go anywhere now. She will make this place worth living and will never leave it. Ram ji had promised Bhima Bai never to leave this place. He speaks to Meera that Bhima Bai decorated this house. It will be his disloyalty to Bhima Bai if he leaves.

Ram ji comes outside the house. It was Ram ji’s boss with Champa. Seth Ji says he came to know there was a problem here. The villagers complain to Seth ji that they want Ram ji to do peace pooja for his wife and get them rid of her ghost. Champa takes Ram ji aside and convince him to conduct the pooja. It is important for the peace of mind for himself and his children. Seth ji convince Ram ji as well, to speak to Bhim. Ram ji denies accepting any religion which casts a filthy attitude towards their class and treats them worse than animals. Seth ji convinces that it is not religion’s fault but people’s. Ram ji was convinced that Bhim will not agree. Seth ji asks Ram ji if people claim that Bhima Bai has turned into a ghost, how many will be convinced that Bhima Bai is not a ghost. What is wrong with conducting the pooja then and negating the notion of this ghost forever. Champa holds Ram ji’s hand and requests him to think about it.

Anand confirms from people around the village if they had seen the ghost. Everyone claims to have seen. He later tells Bhim that people have seen the ghost, and they have seen the ghost together at two different spots.

At home, Ram ji had decided to keep the pooja for Bhima Bai. This will solve much problem for their children. He informs Meera and comes to announce to the villagers that he will do what they say. But afterwards, they will not have anymore problems with Bhima Bai or her ghost. He tells them to prepare for pooja. They will do the pooja, whenever they will say. Bhim comes disagreeing with him. He says these people always planned against his mother and she was disgraced. Now, after her death she will suffer no more. Ram ji shouts at Bhim and Anand to go inside. He sends the villagers to prepare for pooja. Inside, Ram ji announces they will do pooja whenever Maharaj will say. Bhim and Anand tell Ram ji that there are two people involved in faking their mother’s ghost. Ram ji asks what good it will be, even if they find the two men. These people will continue creating problems for them. He has no more courage to lose another member of his family. He goes inside, decisively.

Maharaj laughs ferociously as he celebrates his victory. Dhansuklal says after the pooja, Ram ji and his family will no more be able to stand against them in the society.

Bhim discusses with Anand that he has no problem with their pooja. But he knows that even people from lower cast are disgraced even after their death. Mangesh comes to Ram ji and disgracefully informs him of his wife’s pooja early morning the next day. Ram ji silently goes inside. Bhim whispers to Anand that they must find the truth tonight.

There, Maharaj sends his men as ghosts tonight as well. This will elevate people’s trust on the existence of ghost. Tomorrow, after pooja then, people will trust him even more. At night, people come across a rod moving on its own, with the assistance of thread being pulled from behind the wall. A shadow of a veiled lady appears to terrify the villagers even more.

At night, Bhim sits on his bed still awake. He decides he cannot let these people disgrace his Ayi anymore.
