The episode begins with Jijabai replying to Meera, she will accept anything said by anyone except Bhim Rao. Arti can take care about David’s manager, she doesn’t care. All she wants is no one to disturb her. Meera wishes for Jijabai to remove the blind from her eye and realize her mistake as soon as she can.
Rama has no complain or anger towards Lakshmi and Rama for not showing up at he police station. She wants to know if everything is alright. Lakshmi recalls Anand telling her about his sickness. Anand cannot understand Bhim Rao’ method of living, he and Lakshmi wants to narrate their own path. Rama questioned them for being hard. Lakshmi doesn’t want to talk to Rama like that, she asks Rama to leave. Rama leaves. Lakshmi burst into tears, she never imagined talking to Rama like that. Anand didn’t image to talk or behave towards Bhim Rao like that, but he learned it form him as well to do what is right.
Bhim Rao shows manager’s testimony against David. Sriram assures that this testimony will bring David behind bars. Bhim Rao wants David to accept his unborn child. Arti cries, she didn’t start this war for money but for her child, but now the father will be in jail. Sriram tells that it takes a lot of courage to fight against our relatives, that why one must act carefully. Not every fight is against the enemies, this battle will suffer a lot of losses. Bhim Rao agrees with Sriram, he asks Arti to think and act on two front, one who got betrayed by Arti and other who is about to become a mother. Arti must fight both these wars. Arti understands.
Bhim Rao and Rama head back home, Arti recalls what she was just told.
Rama serves manager some medicine to ease his pain. Hitesh taunts, its beginning of new pain and trouble, just like others endured who sided with Bhim Rao and Rama. Joku and Janardan taunted him for leaving his luxurious job just because of some beatings. Rama questions, one earns to be happy not to be beaten. Rama asks not to argue with someone who misinterpreted like him and caused him all these wounds. He drinks the medicine she brought. The manager is no influencer yet want people to listen to him, they need to fight against the British rather than the lower caste. He sees Arti and Bhim Rao coming to chawl. Everyone gathers around. Rama asks about the talk with Sriram. Bhim Rao informs that they have enough documents to file a case against David. It’s a happy news for manager. Arti decided something and wanted everyone to support her on this. Shoba asks. Arti wants to give birth and raise his child like a normal person. She wants to do whatever a mother does at birth of her child. She asks to have a ceremony to celebrate her motherhood like other mothers. While Bhim Rao and Ram were glad about her decisions. Hitesh refuses to accept this nonsense while they were fighting against David. Jijabai agreed, it will be shameful to celebrate motherhood of an unmarried woman. Phuliya on the other hand question if they had no right to do what they want in this chawl. Daliya agrees with Arti, she has to right to give birth to her child and raise her properly. Jijabai questions, it will not eradicate the sin. Ramji stops, it not a sin. Bhim Rao supports Arti. Janardan asks them to leave this chawl. Phuliya calls for a vote, almost everyone votes in Arti’s favors. Anand stops Lakshmi from voting in Arti’s favor. Hitesh and others negate, he asks Anand about it. Anand refuses to have any opinion. Lakshmi leaves to find work, apologizes for not being part of her celebration. Shoba questions her, Anand asks her to leave for work. Ramji stops Lakshmi. He questions what’s on their mind, why Anand doesn’t let Lakshmi reply and stay distant. Anand asks Lakshmi to leave. Bhim Rao needs to talk. Anand will not answer, he has a lot to do at home. Meera asks they must not to bothered, they must stick to those who are in support. The rest can stay back. She appreciates Arti for her decision.
Joshi rushes informing David about his manger turning against him. He also informs him about Arti celebrating her motherhood. David is not bothered. He asks Joshi to be more frustrated about the manager siding with Bhim Rao because before becoming his servant he belonged to Joshi’s caste which he apparently left. Police comes in with an arrest warrant against David.
