Ramji covered unconscious Bala with a cape, he stopped himself from touching him.
Next morning, he went to check on Bala. Bala was asleep. Ramji took a stole and sat beside him; he touched his hair that woke him up. Ramji asked him to forget Rani, let her be happy with her husband. Bala understood, he requested him to untie him, his hands were aching. Bala asked for food, Ramji went to get some. Bala ran away with the urge to find Rani and question her.
Everyone came out, they worried on how to find them. Ramji intended to file a report against Bala and get police involved in this. Mangesh questioned him for filing a report against his own son. Bhim Rao agreed with Rami as Bala was committing a crime, he should be stopped from doing so. Bhim Rao and Ramji went to the police station.
Maharaj was in his room; the thief man came and gave him few gold coin which he stole last night. Maharaj praised him, asked him to rest for a while. Sethji came calling Maharaj, he informed him about last night robbery. Maharaj asked them to find the thief and set a suitable punishment for them. Sethji questioned if the thief man stole them, Maharaj defended the thief man saying that he was under his observation the entire night. The thief man left for prayers. Pandith urged to find the thief. Maharaj suggested that it must be an outsider, why a preacher and follower would steal from their God. Sethji agreed. Pandith with the intention to find the thief left.
Anand along with everyone else were searching for Bala, they met Ramji and Bhim Rao. Policemen have told them to wait for any information. A villager taunted Ramji for birthing such uncultured son. Mangesh intervened asking the man to focus on his own son rather than mocking others. The villager told Mangesh that Mahesh was the one who got Bala drunk. They didn’t understand the contrasting nature of two brothers, assuming that they wish to destroy Ramji’s family. The villagers left. Mangesh asked why he everyone was staring at him. Bhim Rao said that he was just noticing how his own villagers turned against him just because he sided with the lower caste. Bhim Rao was talking about the same thing last night. Mangesh agreed. The went to find Bala.
Bala was drinking alcohol, he was determined to find Rani and question her why she ran away.
Everyone sat in despair. Ramji said that he came drunk yesterday. Jijabai as worried for his return, wasn’t sure he would come back or not as now he was aware that Rani left. Meanwhile they heard people howling. Bhim Rao inquired. He got to know that distribution of some poisonous alcohol caused death of few villagers. Ramji and the family’s concern heightened. Everyone went to find Bala.
Sethji and Mahesh appeared, Mahesh asked Sethji to praise him for his accomplishment. Sethji questioned. Mahesh confessed of making Bala a drunk addict, he finished him. Sethji promised to gift him a gold chain if Bala was actually dead. He went to inform Maharaj.
Ramji and the family reached the site, people mourned their loved ones. Amongst the lying corpses they searched for Bala. A man announced that Bala’s dead body was behind the tree. They ran to find him. Ramji noticed a dead body. They went close to discover; it was Bala.
