Ram ji asks Bheema what he thinks is better. Bheema says I will study. He tells his brothers to study as well. Ram ji tells Bala and Anand to focus only on studies. I will beat you if you think about doing anything else. He leaves. Tulsa teases her brothers. Bala chases her.
Everyone is sleeping except Bheema. He keeps thinking of all that happened today. Ram ji notices him keeping the barber’s cloth in their trunk. He pretends to sleep when Bheema returns.
The parents of rich kids question school teachers as to how their kids will study with such lowly kids. This is injustice to all of us. We will not send our kids to your school if this continues. Principal assures them that Bheema and his brothers sit on a separate sack in another corner of the classroom. The parents are still not convinced. Our kids will run the country in future and not them. Throw them out right away. They should do what they are born to do. They don’t need to study to do that. Why are they getting into our religion? One of the teachers speaks of government rules. We must abide by it. The parents continue to argue. This is against our rules. What do Britishers know about our rules? If you are so ok with it then drink water from his hands. The good teacher reasons that studying in school and drinking water from their hands are 2 different things. No arguments are able to convince the parents. Bheema says we will leave the school and will never return but we have one condition. Pick one book from my class and ask me 5 questions. We will leave the school if I answer even one question incorrectly. If I answer all questions correctly, you will never return to school. The good teacher speaks of law whereas the parents speak of society. Bheema’s condition is accepted. Anand runs towards his home.
A book is picked up and the first question is asked. The good teacher points out thar Bheema does not study Sanskrit. Ask him something about Marathi. The parent says he only gave us a choice to choose any book. Bheema answers the question correctly shocking everyone present there. Bala claps for him. The parent asks him how he studied Sanskrit. Bheema says I overheard it. The good teacher asks the parent if he will cut his ear. Ask the next question.
Anand reaches home and tells his Baba that Bheema is in trouble again. Ram ji and Anand run back to school.
Bheema correctly answers all the next questions. The good teacher asks the parents to leave. You have asked him 15 questions. Leave and don’t come back here with this intention. Bala, Anand and Ram ji clap for Bheema. The parents take it as a challenge. We will see till when this will continue. They leave. All the kids sit in their respective classes again.
The good teacher tells Ram ji that there is something special about your son. He is very different than others. Don’t let him miss out on studies at any cost. Ram ji nods and thanks him. Another teacher makes a face when he overhears their convo. Ram ji thinks it is good that yesterday’s incident did not leave a negative impression on Bheema.
The same man who had asked the questions enquires about Ram ji. He finds out about his background. Now they are in our area. Keep an eye on them. His men agree.
The kids are asked to narrate something. Bheema raises his hand excitedly. Teacher asks him why he comes to school if he knows everything. Bheema replies that he shares what he knows and he learns what he doesn’t. This is why I come to school. Anand taps at the lunch box while Bheema sings a chaupayi. The teacher is a little affected by the words. The good teacher also peeks at Bheema. He notices Balchand keeping another pot of water. He cuts a log in half.
It is lunch break. One kid siys next to Bheema and his brothers. Anand compliments Bheema’s singing and offers him his share of lunch also but Bheema politely declines. Bheema notices the kid and asks him what happened. Surendra introduces himself. You sing beautifully. Even I like to sing but I could never learn it. Anand and Bala say that Bheema can teach anyone anything. Bheema asks Surendra if his family will be ok with him teaching him anything. Surendra suggests him to sing / teach from far only. Bheema agrees. Surendra offers him sweets. Anand declines politely but Bheema accepts it gladly from him.
