The episode begins with Ramji believing that Bhim Rao compromised his freedom for this scholarship. Bhim Rao asked Ramji to let go, he didn’t want his father to be upset Ramji put his perspective forwards, he worried if his son who wanted to serve the nation get occupied as a servant to a King. Ramji was happy for Bhim Rao; he announced a dinner for everyone. Ramji left. Puranjan asked him not to worry.

Varchand threw his wife out of his house. The neighbors questioned. Varchand blamed his wife for Nikunj’s loss, she prayed for Bhim Rao’s win behind his back. She cried and begged for mercy. Varchand asked her seek help from Bhim Rao.

Ramji was preparing dinner for everyone. Guruji came to celebrate as well. Hitesh and his fellows said that they would only eat to maintain peace not because they were happy for Bhim Rao. Meera asked them to remember this day in happiness. Varchand’s wife came to the neighborhood. She told Bhim that Varchand there her out and she as leaving Bombay now. She told Bhim Rao that she would always want children like Bhim Rao, he would find many people like Varchand in his life. Bhim Rao should always fight against them. Bhim Rao got taunted for destroying another life. Bhim Rao asked her to fight for her right, her honor and valor. It would not only benefit her but strengthen other women as well. She objected as Varchand was too powerful to fight with. Bhim Rao told that not every battle was fought to be won but to ease the path for those suffering. Hitesh mocked Bhim Ro. She agreed to fight her battle.
Next morning, Bhim Rao while preparing her bag took out the pen Ramji gifted him as a positive omen to start his new journey. Rama understood his relation to the pen. She asked him not to worry, Ramji would give him a pen today as well. Bhim Rao worried if he didn’t because Ramji’s trust on him was all he had to live with.

Bhim Rao went to take his blessings. Ramji blessed him and then sat back. Puranjan gave him the pen Ramji used to give. He said that Ramji wouldn’t give him a pen owing to him being upset. Rami wasn’t at peace with his decision. Bhim Rao was taking the pen when Jijabai snatched it from his hand. She knew that the pen was from Ramji, Puranjan was covering up for Ramji. She heard them making the plan. Jijabai refused to let Bhim Rao use the pen he bought from his pension. Bhim Rao got to know what Ramji felt thus the pen wasn’t a necessary for him anymore. Bhim Rao left.

Varchand’s wife stood in front of him. She said that it was her new beginning, she would fight this battle herself. Varchand threatened to kill her. She wasn’t frightened, told that incase she dies a court case would run against everyone of them. She questioned inequality she faced being a woman. She was thrown out of the house for speaking her mind by the same man she lived, prayed, and fasted for. Varchand asked if she would enter his house without his permission. She would live at the corner of street where Varchand goes for breakfast. Varchand said that she won’t succeed. She refused, according to Bhim Rao everyone fighting for a worthy cause succeeds in their mission.
