In this episode Rama and the women asked men if they ever helped her. Sarla’s mother-in-law asked the men to have dinner, women can only talk. Bhim Rao questioned if men lacked ability to act. Bhim Rao gave Rama her dinner.

The men in chawl ordered dinner from outside, they taunted the women who thought that the men would starve tonight. The men were drunk as well. Joku realized that Bhim Rao was involving in his family, they have to get rid of him. Hitesh said that he has been asking everyone to act against Bhim Rao. They all were ready to get rid of Bhim Rao. Bhabi heard their conversation, she awaits Jijabai’s return to work on her plan.

The men and the women ate dinner. Ramji asked Bhim Rao that for how long would this strike continue.

Next morning, the women made tea for their husbands. The men thought that the women have come back to their senses, they have realized that they were born to serve their husbands. They noticed that besides Rama and Lakshmi all other lower caste females have left as well. The men thought that the strike has been called off, they asked their women to return home. The women said that this cup of tea was their last, since the women were going back to their maternal home.

The women in chawl told their husbands that they were leaving as well. They called the women mad.

The man blamed Bhim Rao for this. Rama questioned, asked them to talk to their wives. They were getting food from Sarla’s mother and father-in-law. The women were ready to leave. Bhim Rao said that it was their last chance to stop their women. Sarla’s mother and father-in-law asked women to leave, they would return eventually. The men asked if they would provide them with food. Sarla’s in laws refused. The women were leaving, the men stopped them. The women asked justice for Sarla. The men turned to Sarla’s in law, questioned them. Joshi intervened, questioned the men. Bhim Rao asked Joshi to guarantee that he would provide them with food. He asked Joshi not to intervene if he can not help. Sarla’s husband refused to give her money. The man threatened to discard him out of the caste, they had the ability to do that. Sarla’s in laws agreed, they went to bring her share. Joshi left.

Sarla cried, said that tit was for the first time she felt like an independent woman. She never imagined she would get a share. Bhim Rao asked them women to put themselves above their relations. Rama asked the women to be strong and brave so that they don’t ever have to protest for their rights again. Sarla’s in laws brought her share and her stuff, asked her to take it and leave. Her husband said that he would not stop her. Bhim Rao asked how the he can think that his second marriage would bring her happiness. They refused to listen to his advice, they would not take Sarla back in. Sarla understood Rama’s advice, she was ready to start her life somewhere else. The women refused; said they had enough place to keep Sarla. The women and Sarla left.

Rama and everyone else returned back to chawl playing drum. They asked Ram to come forward. Some questioned. Phuliya told that Rama women the fight for women rights. Ramji made kheer for Rama. Bhim Rao was extremely happy for Rama.
