Ram ji brings Bheema to a field which has just been ploughed. Ram ji throws a stone which falls somewhere in the middle. Bheema is asked to stand right there. He does as told. Ram ji asks him if he is feeling hot. Bheema says I will feel it as it is hot. Ram ji asks him how hot it is. Bheema says a lot. Ram ji throws a stone in different direction and asks Bheema to stand there now. Bheema asks why but gets no answer. He complies. Ram ji asks him the same questions again. Bheema replies that it is as hot here as it was there. Ram ji walks up to his son. Knowledge is also like sun’s warmth. Just like the sun’s warmth remained constant in all the directions, similarly, knowledge would remain constant irrespective of where you sit in the classroom. Where you sit in the class is not important. It is important to understand it. Bheema says I wasn’t given water properly in school. I was told to drink water from the new pot. What about that? Ram ji says it is a good thing. Why leave studies behind it? Let the new pot come. Why get angry and cry? Leave all this and study with all your heart. He hugs Bheema. Bheema asks him if they should head home. Ram ji asks him to go. I will bring sweets as you got inside the class today. We will celebrate together. Bheema runs back home happily. Mangesh and other villagers see Bheema. They think he might have gotten a prize after stealing something. This is what people from this community too. This will encourage him furthermore. Bheema says Baba says things which boost our morale. There is no one like Baba. One of the villagers smile.
At home, the family is surprised to see Bheema smiling as he enters home. Bheema shares that Baba has gone to bring sweets.
At night, Bala and Anand tell the entire story to their family as to how they finally got inside the classroom. Ram ji appreciates Bheema. Anand says Bheema answered the question correctly. Bheema is very smart. Ram ji points out that even he was dumb like other kids. Become a little smart. Everyone smiles. Anand says only Bheema enjoys studying. I don’t enjoy it at all.
The kids lie down to sleep. Bheema is sleeping peacefully in his mother’s arms. Ram ji sits next to them. He notices tears in his wife’s eyes. Are you fine? Is something bothering you? She asks her husband why he wont tell Bheema why this is happening to him. Why is he asked to stand outside the classroom to study; why he has been asked to sit in another corner; and why he wasn’t given water in a glass yesterday! Ram ji tells her to understand. Bheema is a kid. This isn’t his age to understand all this. She asks him till when will this truth stay hidden from him. Wont it hurt him more if he will find out this from someone else? He listens to you. He will understand. Ram ji points out that Bheema is different from their other kids. He is very sentimental. He takes things deeply. It isn’t right to force this truth on him. This will affect him badly at this age. Leave it on time. She refuses to keep Bheema in dark. Think how he will feel when he will find out the truth. He will think we hid this from him. It will hurt him a lot. He will be strong if he will grow up knowing this truth. Ram ji reasons that there is a time to know everything. This might not work positively on him. There might be a setback on his mind. Wait till the time he begins to understand the nature of this society. Later, he will work on things upon his wish. He wont bend down in front of anyone. He goes. Bheema’s mother eyes her son sadly. All my kids found out the truth about their caste slowly. It did impact them eventually. I know that this truth will snatch Bheema’s innocence. This society is the culprit to every woman of our community! She hugs her son and cries.
Next morning, the kids are playing at home. Bheema’s mother stops Bheema. Don’t you have to go to school today? Bheema shares that it is Sunday. She asks about Bala but he has gone out with someone. She starts coughing badly and breathing heavily. Bua tells her to rest. Bheema also tells her to take off on Sunday. We will cook everything. Give me some money. I need to get a haircut and wants to trim my nails. His mother asks him if he will go alone. He nods. I know where it is. She isn’t convinced with the idea of him going alone. You can go with Baba. She fears that someone might say something untoward to him. Bheema convinces her. She gives him money. He tells her he will be home soon and leaves.
A guy brings a buffalo to trim the hair. Bheema also comes there. Barber tells the guy to wet the buffalo’s hair with water till the time he will cut Bheema’s hair. The guy agrees. Bheema’s classmate reaches there with his father. He notices Bheema on the chair and refuses to get his haircut from this shop. Barber asks them if they had a fight in school. Bheema denies. The kid whispers something in his father’s ears. He asks the barber to ask Bheema his complete name. Bheema tells him. Barber asks for his caste. Bheema remains silent. Barber asks him to leave. I cannot cut your hair. Bheema asks him the reason but barber tells him to ask his father instead. He does not let Bheema remove the cloth tied around his neck. Who will I give it to now? Go. Barber starts cutting the buffalo’s hair. Bheema asks him why he can cut a buffalo’s hair but not his. Barber tells him to ask this question to his father.

Entire family is taken aback by his question. A barber cut a buffalo’s hair and refused to cut my hair. He told me to ask you this.
