Jija Bai is waiting with Karuna when she says that they all did not return till now so are they planning to come back after selling all of the newspaper. Meera comes saying they donot do anything but should just wait to see how someone comes after becoming successful, Jokhu says he is such a person who wants Bhim and Rama to be ruined, he asks Meera to leave when she replies that she will stay here as she has understood how they become successful and even what it means to be a lazy person, Jija Bai asks her to not call them when Meera agrees saying that Jija Bai is the most lazy person so she leaves asking them all to wait. Janardhan tells Jija Bai that if there is a way due to which they can sell their newspaper then Meera would be the most happy.
Bhim along with everyone else are searching for Deepak who comes running informing them that he has sold three newspapers hearing which they all get excited, Deepak asks Bhim to take the money, they all clap for Deepak when Rama says today Deepak should be happy because he not just sold the newspaper but because Bhim challenged Meghnath that they will sell the newspaper from tomorrow but Deepak has done it today. Ramji asks them all to come back home as they should be glad with how many newspapers they have sold, Deepak along with everyone else get shocked seeing Meghnath standing in front of them, when Lakshmi tells Meghnath that Deepak sold the newspaper, Meghnath asks Deepak to tell them how he sold the newspaper. Bhim asks Deepak what is he saying about the way Deepak sold them, Meghnath says he will tell them when Shoba says Deepak would tell them the truth as they donot trust him, Deepak informs how managed to trick the people into purchasing the newspaper by saying he is from the class of Meghnath, Deepak accepts that he lied in order to sell them. Shoba slaps Deepak when Rama requests her to not slap him but Bhim says Shoba should slap him again as one can sometimes only learn after being slapped. Deepak tells he did it all for Bhim and he is the one who got him slapped so this means even Bhim and Meghnath are standing against him, Bhim asks Deepak to apologize to Meghnath when he asks the people from the upper class to throw the papers on their face, he demands Bhim Rao to give back their money when Bhim stops them saying that if they throw the papers then he will not return the money. Meghnath says that he understands Bhim will never return the money but Rama says that her husband only wants to protect their efforts and not let it go to waste. Bhim Rao puts the money when Deepak turns to leave so he stops him saying Deepak should apologize while holding his hand however Deepak is quiet, Shoba also asks him to apologize when Deepak apologizes after being pressurized however runs away angrily, Bhim stops Shoba saying they all should return back to the Chawl while he will bring Deepak because he needs him at the present, Bhim follows Deepak while even Meghnath leaves.
Deepak runs to sit on the shack saying he did it all for Bhim but he made him but does he not care for the love and respect, Bhim coming says he can die a hundred times for it, he sits beside Deepak saying he was the other person who accepted him so he knows Deepak can do anything for him and considers him his brother, Guru and even Bhim says he understands the love of Deepak but where there is love then there is right to say whatever they desire even if it is very hurting. Bhim says he knows that the things he said were very hurtful but they should never hide their class so what if he was not able to sell the newspaper as they would have fought for a few more days. Bhim says they are fighting to get their identity and the right to live with respect so if they start hiding their identity then this struggle would not mean anything, he tells Deepak they have to fight and even then if Deepak thinks he has made a mistake then he is apologizing for it, but for him the two slaps were necessary to make Deepak remember that he should neither lie nor use easy ways for his targets and compromise on their principles. Bhim ask Deepak to come back with him however Deepak is still furious, Bhim says even he would not be able to go back without him saying who would like to lose someone like Deepak as he does not have a lot of people. Deepak hugs Bhim while getting emotional. Bhim also embraces Deepak with a smile on his face.
Rama and Lakshmi along with everyone else return when Jija Bai asks if they were not able to sell the newspaper, Karuna replies she felt they were able to sell it all. Meera says they all felt that everyone will become rich in a day. Sethji says they have returned with the same sense of desire but Jokhu says that they all should talk like this with Bhim Rao. Janardhan suggests they should give the newspaper to them as they would use to wipe the dishes, Ramji asks Janardhan to watch how he talks, Phuliya replies they can even make a tea by using them, Jokhu suggests they will give it to Bhim who was not able to sell even a single piece, Bhim comes asking why are they so worried because the newspapers are still important for them as they are the proof of the efforts, he is adamant.
