Rama brings the oil which Bhim takes and sitting in front of Ramji asks him to gives his feet on which Bhim starts applying the oil, Jija Bai and Karuna are just standing there looking at Bhim who is sitting in front of everyone.
Shamla is also applying the oil on the feet of Shishupal, she says that after their mother left how did they all live, Shishupal says that their father taught them that they would get freedom which they got for a few days but when they remembered their mother, Baba gave them a stick saying he should follow the orders, Shishupal says he was fourteen years old when he picked the stick and started beating the weak so people got scared of him, Shamla says the problem with stick is that it keeps standing in front of the weak but bows down in front of the powerful. Shamla mentions she would come right now so leaves while Shishupal is waiting, Shamla returns with the book saying it is not the case with the book as it always keeps their head high in front of everyone so she requests Shishupal to also take the book with the belief that it would keep his head high in front of everyone,Shishupal slowly tries to reach for the book however he retracts his hand, Shamla suggests he should take the book after gathering the courage, Shishupal once again tries to reach slowly for the book but stops after when the book is thrown on the floor by Meghnat who is looking furiously at Shishupal and then Shamla, Meghnat orders his men to hold them both and tie them, Shishupal demands they should let go of Shamla but the women tie her hands while the men also tie Shishupal as the book is on the floor, Meghnat pulls the book towards him saying they will teach both Shishupal and Shamla a lesson, he asks if she thinks he is a fool, he orders his men to call Bhim Rao.
The worker comes running to Bhim Rao saying that Meghnat is calling him as he has tied his sister Shamla and Shishupal, Bhim looks at Ramji who signals him to go, he asks Rama to take care of Baba but she says she will also come with him as there are a lot of people here but Ramji orders Bala to go with him as who knows what might happen there, Karuna asks why would he go there as she has to go to her work and everything is left in the house, Bhim asks Ramji to not worry as no one has to come with him, Rama says she is not feeling right that he should go there alone, Bhim turning to Rama says that when Baba was going to set fire to the clothes then she stopped him, he says they still have the anger of that situation so she is the only one who can think clearly. Jaggu says what is the need to argue as if Rama wants to go then they should let her go, Karuna replies Rama does not listen to anyone and Ramji mentions if Bhim explains then she would not go with him. Rama replies he should also tell what she would do if she stays tensed, Bhim replies she has brought the book for him so he would go to London but would get in problems there so how will she come with him, Bhim asks Rama to be able to break free from the fear as is the most important thing in life, he walks away while Rama is worried.
Meghnat orders his men to take both of them outside so Bhim witnesses it there, Shishupal says that he should let go of Shamla but Meghnat does not agree pulling them both out of the house. Shishupal keeps resisting along with Shamla.
Rama is standing at the entrance of the Chawl but returns , lakshmi asks if Karuna saw how Rama returned so she must not think wrong about what happens between them both, Shoba says this is what is different between them both as who thinks the other is wrong listens, Jaggu explains now that Bhim has gone there so they would go and see what is going on there, Janardhan mentions that they would surely go there, Puran angrily hold the stick warning he would not let them go because he has seen how they always go after Bhim but then stand against his enemies so he has to also fight against them but today they have to stand in front of him, Ramji asks Puran to let them go as they have decided to always stand against Bhim and fight with him, Jaggu says now someone from the outside would stop them, Deepak says Puran is his uncle and Shoba says they should think twice before saying anything to Puran. Karuna asks Bala and Jija Bai to come with her as they should go to work. Lakshmi explains she will cook something while she should take care of Baba, Ramji asks Rama to not worry as Bhim has not gone to stand against the problem for the first time, he assures everything would be fine.
Shishupal and Shamla both are struggling when Bhim comes and seeing their condition asks Meghnat what is he doing and how can someone tie his son and daughter in law. Meghnat mentions he would teach them a lesson now, Bhim requests him to let them both go but Meghnat replies that Bhim is the one behind it as he used to first instigate the outsiders and now even his son and daughter in law, Bhim explains he has just tried to teach what he feels is right while they only do it when they think it is right, Bhim mentions he has tried to explain things of equality so many times but they did not believe him, but now Shishupal jee listened to him because his heart would have realized that Bhim Rao was thinking the right thing and his sister is also right so he feels they should also believe that Bhim Rao is right. Meghnat replies he has called Bhim Rao so that he could take some big decisions, Shishupal says that Meghnat can even take his life but not involve Bhim Rao in this matter but Meghnat replies that Bhim Rao is involved in all the matters, he announces in front of people from his class and Bhim Rao, saying he will set two conditions in front of Shishupal who would have to choose from them one, he says the first choice is this stick while the second is the book which Meghnat throws at the feet of Bhim Rao who gets worried.
