The episode starts with everyone sleeping, Rama got up and went to Bhim Rao who fell asleep while studying. She started giving him a head massage, Bhim Rao said he doesn’t have a headache Rama must go and sleep. Rama knew Bhim Rao was stressed, the fight with Joshi and effort to some back home had him sleepless, the massage would help him sleep faster. Bhim Rao knew saying Rama anything was useless. Rama considered Joshi a serpent, he would do anything to trouble their lives.
Joshi along his companion went to their Guruji, they welcomed inside. Guruji inquired. Joshi came to take blessings as it was his birthday. He brought his Guruji a gift, as he has always supported and understood him. Guruji asked Joshi not to worry, the principal cannot suspend everyone for the lower caste. Joshi had planned something against Bhim Rao, he informed Guruji about him. Joshi and his companion left.
Bhim Rao asked Rama not to use foul language against anyone, the use of language defines our personality. Rama considered Joshi a troublemaker. Bhim Rao refused to let her say bad about anyone.
Joshi’s companion asked why he lied about his birthday. Joshi wanted Guruji to fight for him against Bhim Rao. He awaits tomorrow, to ruin Bhim Rao and his family’s happiness.
Guruji was sick, he excused from teaching but told his class a story about an ant and a lion which Bhim Rao related to his current situation with Joshi. Guruji was asked about ant’s name, he refused to tell the name but told that the ant went to Governor and now considers herself nothing less than a Governor. Bhim Rao was leaving the class, Guruji asked him to go home as other teachers were absent today. Bhim Rao left the room than came back. he was questioned. Bhim Rao loved ant’s character, asked Guruji to tell ant’s name so that everyone could know. He informed the class that he was the ant, and the Governor got him back the lion’s den. He listed ant’s ability too carry burden four times its weight, but he has to carry the burden five times it’s weight, the addition of a Guruji making fun of his student. He said that when ants gather, they turn castles into sand.
Bhim Rao came outside, he sat on the steps rather a bench. Guruji inquired why he wasn’t in his classroom. He told him that he left the class because Sir Padmakkar was making fun of him rather than teaching. He asked Bhim Rao to complain about it to the principal. Bhim Rao refused, he saw another teacher crossing by. He said that he would learn something else and went after him.
The class was being thought about Sanskrit, Bhim Rao peaked from the door. He noted the lecture standing outside the classroom.
Shoemaker asked everyone to come out as he has brought a fortune teller. Everyone wanted to take his blessings, they were asked to maintain distance. He said that every question will charge one anna. A man asked when his son would come back, the fortune teller looked at the sky than answered he will never return. The man was disappointed and left. Lakshmi asked about her unborn child’s gender, the man looked at the sky and told that she would have a girl. Rama asked him to teach her this science, her husband has a lot of enemies, she wished to know.
Guruji noticed someone outside the classroom, he called him inside. Bhim Rao came in, he knew he wouldn’t be allowed to sit inside thus decided to hear the lecture form outside. Guruji took his notebook and teared pages on which he noted his lecture. He wanted to punish Bhim Rao for having the audacity to learn Sanskrit knowing it was a sin for the lower caste.
The fortune teller arose in anger on Rama for asking him to teach her the art though being a lower caste and a woman. She was asked to have manners and some respect for the upper caste. Daliya amma wanted to intervene but her son took her away.
Bhim Rao and Rama both were being insulted respectively. Rama cried, everyone left. Jijabai and Lakshmi stood by her. Bhim Rao was asked not to even hear anything about Sanskrit.
