Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum 23rd August 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Tejal denying to do the “grihapravesh” ritual. She tells till Sanyukta accepts that wholeheartedly she has accepted Tejal as the daughter-in-law, she’ll not fulfill the custom. Sanyukta shouts at Tejal. She tells her that Tejal has not at all changed and she still remains the same old, awful, ill-mannered girl. She tells she had thought to change her opinion about Tejal but Tejal has proved that she has not changed a bit. Tejal is very hurt.

Sanyukta continues that she is happy now that she didn’t have to attend Tejal’s marriage. She was hurt at first thinking that Tejal would be upset because Sanyukta couldn’t attend but now she is relaxed knowing that she didn’t do a mistake by not attending her marriage. Shaswat smirks.

Sanyukta tells Sushila to light the aarti and now only “grihapravesh” will be done for Monikangana not Tejal. Tejal is in tears hearing this. But she puts up a brave face and tells that she’ll wait for the day till Sanyukta accepts her full-fledgedly. Sanyukta tells that that day will never come. But Tejal challenges that one day will surely come when Sanyukta would whole-heartedly accept Tejal as the daughter of the house.

Aniket tries to tell something to Tejal but Shaswat cuts him off saying that Aniket is enjoying how his wife is insulting his mom. But Aniket tells him to shut up his mouth. Tejal tells that let whoever think whatever they want, she’ll not do the “grihapravesh” but that does not mean that she’ll go back to her father’s home. She tells that she’ll stay in this house as a guest till Sanyukta accepts her as her daughter.

Tejal holds Aniket’s hands and steps inside the home. All are surprised. Sanyukta gives her a dreadful look and continues with Monikangana and Shaswat’s welcoming ritual. Tejal and Aniket ascends the stairs. All look at them. After a few seconds, Sushila Binoy too follows Anijal upstairs. Then Foram and Baa. When Sanyukta comes inside after finishing the ritual, she notices no one is by her side. All have gone upstairs. Nikhilesh was only present. He was sitting in the hall.

Tears well-up in Sanyukta’s eyes but she doesn’t say anything. Shaswat-Monikangana leaves for their room. Nikhilesh asks Sanyukta that why she did this thing. He demands for an explanation. But Sanyukta suddenly gets angry and tells she’ll not give any explanation to anyone. She also goes upstairs.

In Anijal’s room, Tejal is removing her jewelry. She notices Aniket sitting silently in a corner of the room. She walks upto him and apologizes him for misbehaving with Sanyukta. She tells she knows that she was wrong and she shouldn’t have reacted that way but it all happened without her realization of the situation.

Aniket stops her from speaking further and tells that he completely understood her reaction at the heat of the moment. He tells he didn’t say anything because he knew that Tejal was right. He also adds that he’ll be by her side at every step. Tejal gets emotional and hugs him. He hugs her back.

In Nikhilesh Sanyukta’s room, Nikhilesh enters the room and notices Sanyukta turning pages of an old album. He asks her if she is trying to find the old Sanyukta in the album. Sanyukta tells she was only trying to find the old Nikhilesh there who stood by her in each and every steps. She futher adds that the Nikhilesh who used to support her every single decisions is now himself standing against her.

Nikhilesh tells that he always stood by her decisions because he always felt that whatever Sanyukta decided, it was meant for the welfare of their home. But now, he cannot accept her immature behavior when she even denied that she owed an explanation to Tejal. Tejal is so unlucky that despite a mother standing in front of her she is unable to get her affection.

In Anijal’s room, Aniket is kneeling in front of Tejal. She is sitting on the bed. Their hands are folded. Aniket tells that he took some promises during marriage that he will always take care of Tejal and stand by her in every sphere of life. That is why he is standing by her in this critical time. Tejal tells that Aniket is such a good husband. He understands her each and every pain and agony. But she is a stupid wife. She has compelled him to go through a dilemma whether to choose her or his mother.

Aniket pacifies her. Tejal tells that she knows he loves his mother very much and that she’ll never come in between him and his mother. They share a very close moment once again.

Precap: Nikhilesh tells that he knows tejal went a bit overboard but seeing her mental situation, her actions are justified. Sanyukta tells Tejal has not only insulted her but also the customs and rituals of this home. So she can never ever forgive her.
