Ek Doosre Se Karte Hai Pyaar Hum 17th August 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Monikanga’s house. Monikangana consoles her father that she’ll get married to Shaswat only. Sanyukta is shocked on hearing this. But she manages herself and tells Shaswat that they have to leave because time is running out for Shaswat’s marriage. She tells Monikangna that they’ll leave now.

In the marriage hall, all are waiting for Sanyukta. Nikhilesh Binoy are tensed. They ask Sushila about Sanyukta. Sushila tells that Sanyukta will definitely come as she promised that she’ll be present in Aniket’s wedding. Nikhilesh calls up Sanyukta.

In Moni’s home, as Sanyukta is about to leave, Shaswat blocks her way and tells he is sorry that he told a lie to Sanyukta. When Sanyukta couldn’t understand, he tells that when Monikangna’s father was in hospital, he promised that he’ll marry Monikangna to him. Now he has to keep his promise. Sanyukta is too much shocked and she tells that he needn’t fulfill his promise because he might have promised keeping the situation in mind.

But Shaswat tells that he loves Monikangna and didn’t make false promise. He has to marry Monikangna now. He also taunts Sanyukta saying that she is not bothered about him as she is much more interested in attending her favorite son’s wedding. Sanyukta is in a dilemma.

Here Nikhilesh calls up Sanyukta. But Sanyukta did not see it as she was sitting near the bed of Monikangna’s father. Shaswat notices the incoming call in Sanyukta’s mobile. He picks the phone and cuts the call. Nikhilesh is surprised. He calls up again. Shaswat again cuts the call. Nikhilesh is now very angry and tells Lalitaben to start the rituals of marriage.

Sushila requests him to wait bacause Sanyukta promised to come and surprise them. She tells that Sanyukta had even sent some necklaces for Tejal. Binoy tells that they had seen the necklaces but they wanted Sanyukta to be present in the marriage not the necklaces. He tells they couldn’t wait more as time is running out and rituals needed to start.

Vaibhavi goes to Aniket’s car and tells him to come out. After he comes out, they start the welcoming ritual. Lalitaben has to pull Aniket’s nose. As she tries to pull, Binoy lifts Aniket up. After a few tries, She manages to pull his nose. After the welcome, they go inside and sit. Aniket tells Binoy that he agreed to participate in the initial ritual but he’ll not marry till Sanyukta comes. Binoy doesn’t say anything.

In Moni’s house, Monikangna tells Sanyukta that she can understand her dilemma. But she wants that she and Shaswat will dress up like the married couple for her father. They’ll not marry but just for the sake of her father, she wants to do a drama. Sanyukta tells that they shouldn’t do deceive a dying person. She tells Monikangna to go and get ready.

In the marriage hall, Tejal is worried that Vaibhavi didn’t inform her about Sanyukta’s arrival. In the meantime, Vaibhavi walks towards Tejal’s room. She thinks to herself how she’ll tell Tejal that Sanyukta has not yet arrived. But Lalitaben calls Vaibhavi and warns her not to tell Tejal about Sanyukta. Tejal overhears their conversation.

In Moni’s home, her father tells Sanyukta that he will always be grateful to Sanyukta for accepting Monikangna at such a critical time. He tells Moni that her mother had left her a bridal wear. He requests her to go and get dressed in that. Shaswat comes inside the room and tells Sanyukta that he informed the Pandit to come. And all the necessary items for marriage will be brought by the Pandit only. Sanyuykta nods.

In marriage hall, the pandit tells that its almost time for the marriage. He tells the groom to sit in the mandap. Aniket is gloomed . Baa tells Nikhilesh that Sanyukta did a very bad thing today. For her own selfishness and pompousness, she didn’t attend her own son’s wedding. She tells Nikhilesh to give her the phone as she wants to talk to Sanyukta.

Nikhilesh tells its of no use to call up Sanyukta. He has already tried calling her. But she didn’t respond and cut the call. He tells Aniket to go and sit in the mandap. Aniket is very sad and looks blankly. The scene freezes on him.
