Double century for Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani

Zee TV’s magnum opus Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani produced by Sphereorigins completed 200 episodes yesterday (28 April).

And with the completion of this feat, the show will witness major changes in the storyline.

The drama is soon going to take a leap of eight years. Post the jump, the story will revolve around Ranaji (Siddhant Karnick) and Gayatri (Drashti Dhami)’s kid.

Yesterday, it was also the last day of shoot for Siddhant.

The channel and production house surprised the cast with cakes which they enjoyed whole heartedly.

We have also heard that Drashti will also wrap up her shoot soon and the new chapter will begin from 3 May.

When we got in touch with Anjum Fakih, who plays the role of Rageshwari, she shared, “I will continue to be a part of the show post the leap, though I am still waiting for my character details. Yesterday, we completed 200 episodes and everybody on the sets got really emotional. Though we were really happy, we were equally sad to say goodbye to Siddhant and Drashti.”

We totally understand Anjum. We wish everyone good luck on their new start!
