Ganga Prasad says that he won’t perform the puja without Doree. Doree is trapped in a dye utensil, and labor puts the utensil on the gas to get it ready for dying clothes, unaware that Doree is inside it.
Sometime before…
Rukmini praises Flora for tormenting Doree and assures her that she will eventually kick Doree out of the house. Rukmini says Flora’s actions remind her of her own childhood and urges her to continue the torment. She gives Flora a gift, thinking that Ganga Prasad cannot handle the situation.
Meanwhile, Vansh is talking to Virendra on a video call, asking him to buy an iPhone. He mentions that Mansi is in her room. Anand is shocked to see Neelu in his room, wearing Mansi’s dress and jewelry. He warns her that someone might see her, but she flirts with him. Vansh opens the door and scolds Neelu for being there again and for wearing his mother’s dress, demanding she remove it. Anand slaps Vansh in anger, prompting Vansh to complain to Virendra.
Ganga Prasad worries that they will soon separate Doree from him, and he hides a letter from Nani. When Nani asks if everything is alright, he lies to her. Flora arrives, and Kailashi Devi asks why she isn’t wearing the dress she gifted her. Flora lies, saying the dress was torn, recalling how she had torn it herself. She asks for a similar dress next time.
Virendra lashes out at Anand for bringing Neelu to his room, reminding him that he had warned him to throw her out of the house. Virendra decides not to transfer any money to Anand’s account. Anand, furious, blames Neelu for ruining everything, fearing Rukmini’s reaction. Neelu accuses Anand of only caring about himself and threatens to reveal to Rukmini that Doree is his daughter. Anand manages to convince her otherwise and asks her to inform Mansi that he had given her the saree and jewelry. Anand wonders how he will escape his mother’s wrath.
Ganga Prasad, lost in thought, refuses to perform the puja without Doree and searches for her. Kailashi Devi asks him to start the puja, but Ganga Prasad insists he cannot do it without Doree, his elder daughter. Flora, with Pavitra’s signal, pretends something has fallen into her eye, and Ganga Prasad helps her. Flora then applies cream to her hand to avoid infection. Flora emotionally manipulates Ganga Prasad, urging him to perform the puja, fearing what might happen to her otherwise. She sits on his lap as the priest ties the dhaga on her hand, but Ganga Prasad remains worried about Doree.
Meanwhile, Komal and Mansi reach the basti. Komal asks Mansi why she insists on buying a saree today. Komal suggests that Mansi might want to know what’s happening between Ganga Prasad and Pavitra, but Mansi says she doesn’t care. After finishing her work, Mansi is about to leave when her saree gets stuck. Ganga Prasad continues to wait for Doree. Flora tries to make a handprint on the wall, but it doesn’t leave a mark. The priest declares this a bad omen, indicating that Flora isn’t the Lakshmi of the house, upsetting Pavitra.
Rukmini tries to divert Mansi from noticing Doree. Komal asks Mansi if she came to meet Ganga Prasad’s daughter, but Mansi scolds her. Doree calls out “mom,” and Mansi feels like Doree is calling her, but Rukmini quickly diverts her attention.
Precap: Mansi shows Ganga Prasad a notice that he can’t adopt Doree alone when he is married. Pavitra walks in and says she is ready to adopt Doree.
