Ganga Prasad is thinking about the priest’s words and recalling his moments with Mansi. Nani arrives and says she knows what he wants to talk about. Ganga Prasad tells her that he can’t marry Mansi. Nani insists that he is Doree’s father and that both he and Mansi have done a lot for her. If they are together, they can protect Doree. Ganga Prasad acknowledges that Mansi’s marriage isn’t going well, but he can’t marry her for that reason. Doree says she needs her family and already left her mom because of her bad father. She asks him to convince Mansi because she is also worried.
Neelu and Anand are walking on the street holding hands. Neelu says they are going the wrong way. Anand pushes Neelu towards a stranger to get money from him. Neelu asks what’s going on, and Anand tells her she is his wife from now on. Neelu questions him, and Anand explains that she needs protection and he needs money to leave Banaras. He admits that he got rid of her baby by giving her medicine. Neelu scolds him for taking her baby away and warns him that she won’t leave him.
Yash tells Mansi that God is giving her another chance at happiness. She is going to marry him for Doree’s sake, as she needs both parents’ love. Mansi questions how she can marry him when marriage is a pure relationship, and she is still tied to Anand, a bad person. Yash insists that Anand is a monster and that she shouldn’t think about him. He urges her to accept this new life, promising to make her happy. Mansi says he deserves a wife who will love him, and she can’t do this to Ganga Prasad. Doree brings Ganga Prasad to Mansi, saying she refused to marry him before to protect her. Now, she isn’t in danger and needs both parents’ love. Mansi reveals that Anand filled her hairline with red powder, but Neelu says it was red chili powder, not vermillion.
Neelu explains that the wedding with Anand was fake, and he tried to sell her and abort her baby. She winces in pain, and Doree asks Ganga Prasad to take Neelu to the hospital. Meanwhile, Yash gifts a new dress to Flora, but she scolds him for not buying her favorite color. Later, Mansi is getting ready for her engagement, with Doree helping her. Mansi says she hopes no evil eyes fall on her and that she will marry Ganga Prasad soon. As she leaves the room, Anand sneaks in and starts packing her belongings.
Yash scolds Flora, and Sudha sends her out, saying they need to raise her well and that she will change soon. Vansh, missing Anand, hears Rukmini’s voice and follows it. He discovers a locked room and opens the door, finding Rukmini tied up and shouting for help. Vansh is shocked and runs away, shouting “ghost.” Yash leaves to check on the situation. Nani starts the engagement rituals. Vansh is bewildered by the hidden room he never knew existed.
Anand sees Mansi and Ganga Prasad about to get engaged. Doree expresses her happiness with her parents. Vansh is horrified to see Rukmini chained and shouts “ghost” before running off. Yash goes to check it out. Nani tells Mansi and Ganga Prasad to exchange rings. Just then, Anand points a gun at them and shoots Mansi.
Precap: Anand shoots Ganga Prasad and kidnaps Doree and other family members and threatens Doree that if she doesn’t sign the papers the rest of the family will be dead.
