Krishna asks Ashok to reply to his, Nupur, and Astha’s questions which they asked before his guruji came. Ashok recalls his children asking if he doesn’t feel like pampering them and staying with them. He says he just wants to take alms and go from here. Krishna asks why he thinks he will get alms from here, he didn’t forget what Ashok did with his mother, he didn’t forget that Ashok came to see his mother on death bed and stood silently, Ashok let people call him illegitimate and stood cowardly, Ashok dumped his responsibility on Yashoda, etc. Yashoda tells Ashok that he should go and wander for 13 years and when he returns, she may not be alive to confront him. Ashok asks her not to say that. Yashoda asks how shall she explain him then, he cowardly ran away from his responsibility and now wants to free himself completely.
Guruji tells Yashoda that the stage where Ashok is, he is of no use to Yashoda and hence she should give him alms and free him. All neighbors asks Yashoda to give alms to Ashok and let him go. Yashoda refuses to give alms and walks inside the house. Guruji says a sadhu shouldn’t go empty handed. Krishna goes in. Suresh asks guruji to wait as Krishna has gone in to bring alms. Krishna walks out holding a cloth and Ashok to fill a jholi of his illegitimate son. Ashok says he doesn’t have anything to give him and apologizes him; he says he learnt today that if a person does a mistake, he should accept it immediately or else things will shatter later. He apologizes everyone and says he is Suresh and Malti’s bad son, Arvind and Mahua’s bad brother, Manoj and Gayatri’s bad friend, Astha and Nupur’s bad father, Yashoda’s bad husband, and Mala’s bad lover, but he wants to be a good sadhu. He tells guruji let’s go from here.
Yashoda breaks down and cries loudly. Astha and Nupur rush to her and plead her not to cry, they will never tell her that they miss their father and will never question her about their father. Yashoda thinks she can’t her children that she let their father wander for 13 years. She asks Ashok to wait, brings alms, and tells him that he is winning over her since she married him and he always makes her do things he wants. She offers him alms. Ashok is about to accept alms when guruji stops him and says he is an incomplete sadhu whose mind is still stuck with his family, a true sadhu is the one who sacrifices everything happily, Krishna asked a right question and he should give what Krishna wants, etc., so he friends Ashok from ascetism. Everyone chant Har Har Mahadev. Ashok emotionally hugs Yashoda and apologizes her. He then apologizes Krishna and says he accepts him as his son and will live with him forever. He then meets rest of the family members. Abhi Mujhme Kahin Baaki Hai Zindagi.. song plays in the background.
Serial ended with Ashok returning to family sacrificing his ascetism.
