Diya Aur Baati Hum completes 400 episodes!

The entire cast and crew of Shashi Sumeet Mittal’s Diya Aur Baati Hum is overjoyed today as they have successfully completed the journey of 400 episodes today. Sandhya’s dream to become an IPS officer and Sooraj’s effort to make her dream come true, won the heart of the audience and the show has successfully maintained its top position in the TRP ranking for so long. Though there was a fall in the TRP since the past few weeks the show continues to hold a good position in the charts and is back to the No. 1 spot again according to the TAM ratings that were released yesterday. So, the team has got double reason to celebrate.

The team is going to celebrate this successful moment by cutting a cake on the sets. We spoke to the actors to know about their journey of 400 episodes. Let’s see what they have to share.

Anas Rashid: I am feeling good and nice that Diya Aur Baati Hum is completing its 400 episodes tonight. I am lucky that this is the longest running show which I am a part of because I did Kahin Toh Hoga for the first 10 months, I did Prithviraj Chauhan for 18-19 months, and then Aise Karo Na Vida ran for not more than 8 months. So, this is the longest journey and seems like I boarded the train from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. I wish that Diya Aur Baati Baati Hum ‘Jeeye Bhi Shaan Se Aur Maree Bhi Shaan Se (laughs).

Deepika Singh: We are blessed with the love of fans and the Almighty that we have completed 400 episodes today and we are back to the No. 1 position. People have loved our work and I wish they will keep loving us. I want to congratulate all of them that their show Diya Aur Baati Hum has completed 400 episodes.

Neelu Vaghela: The journey has been very nice and this week we are back to No. 1 position and we are very happy. Diya Baati is our family and it our heart. I wish lots of love and best wishes for all my co-stars, Shashi Sumeet ji, the production team and lots of love to all the fans who are watching Diya Baati. We are looking forward to complete 800 episodes soon (smiles).

Kanica Maheshwari: The journey was full of hard work and it has been a nice, tremendous and an amazing journey. We all have come together to celebrate the moment. We all are together right from episode 1 and we all share a great bonding and it feels really nice.
