Diya Aur Baati Hum 8th June 2012 Written Update

Epi starts with Vikram on the phone. Meenakshi reminds him to tell Suraj to not tell anyone in the house, especially Bhabho and Sandhya. Vikram requests Suraj the same. Suraj is angry and cuts the phone. ViNa have an argument.

Sandhya is making her bed and thinking she cannot hold it now and has to reveal everything to Suraj. Suraj enters the room in hurry and goes to the cupboard, takes a kurta. He also opens one of the drawers and takes ViNa’s marriage photo. Sandhya gets concerned and Suraj tells her he is going out for an urgent work and will be back by 10 a.m. next day. He gives the shop keys and tells her he is not informing Bhabho or Bhabhasa as they are asleep. He tells her to take care and Sandhya tells him to.

Vikram and Meena in the jail have an argument.

It is morning. Meena is snoring and Vikram is pacing. Suraj comes to the police station (looks like the same police station where Bhabho was arrested before). Vikram sees him and is ashamed. Suraj goes to the inspector and introduces himself and requests to release ViNa. Inspector asks for proof and he shows their marriage photo. Inspector orders a constable to release them and gets Suraj’s signature.

In the house, Bhabho is doing tulsi pooja, chathuri doing some work, Bhabhasa, mohit, chavvi all present. Sandhya comes and pumps water from the borewell. Chathuri stops her but Sandhya says her hand is okay. Bhabho asks whether Suraj is okay as he is asleep still. Sandhya tells her that he is out on some urgent work and could not inform Bhabho in the night as she was asleep. Bhabho is worried what work as he did not inform her also. Chotu comes there and asks for shop keys. Sandhya goes to bring the keys from her room.

Pushkar inspector comes there and knocks the door. All are shocked. Bhabho gets flashbacks of her arrest. The inspector asks for Sandhya Rathi and Sandhya comes there by that time. Bhabho gets angry and nervous and starts scolding Sandhya why did she go to police station again as she has not done any harm to her. The police inspector stops her saying she did not complain against them and in fact, because of Sandhya, Bhabho has been released and gives the tape to Sandhya. He also asks sorry from Bhabho as the previous time he could not.

Bhabho tells Sandhya now she understands that she went yesterday to station. She asks her why she went there if not for complaining again. Sandhya is hesitant. Mohit and Chavvi demean her and pressurize to tell the reason. Bhabhasa is hurt and he tells Sandhya that he knows Sandhya would not do anything wrong but asks her tell the truth for Suraj’s belief on her.

ViNa and Suraj in front of a park. ViNa are sitting on the steps and Suraj is scolding them. He is very angry on Vikram for telling lies to Bhabho. ViNa request him to not tell to Bhabho. Meena cries and Suraj scolds her to stop her drama and to feel sorry from the heart. He asks them to leave for the bus and tells them he is not going to tell Bhabho as he cannot hurt her but they have to find right time and inform Bhabho.

Sandhya accepts to Bhabho that she had gone to the police station the day before, not for complaining but to know who was that woman who complained against Bhabho. Bhabho asks her to tell who is it and Sandhya is hesitating. Chavvi mocks her to tell. Sandhya answers “it is Meena.” They could not believe. Mohit informs her that it was on Meena’s statement that Bhabho was released from jail. Sandhya denies it and tells them Bhabho was released from the jail as the complaint itself was proven wrong. Chavvi asks how would Sandhya know this. Sandhya tells her to remember that she had gone out on the day of Bhabho’s arrest. Chavvi does not but Chathuri remembers and explains to the family that she remembers Sandhya had gone out and came late and that too after Bhabho had returned home.

Sandhya then tells everything that that day she met Preeti’s husband for bailing out Bhabho, his refusal, how she found out the fake hospital name, went to the magistrate, proved to him and the magistrate called the police station to release Bhabho from jail.

She tells Bhabho that when Meena repeated the fake hospital’s name again (Kasturba Naik Hospital), she got suspicious so wanted to confirm it. That’s why she went to the police station yesterday, listened to the voice recording there and could not identify the voice but later when she met Sudha in the house, she found out it was Sudha who had complained against Bhabho on Meena’s behalf. Bhabho is shocked and tearful listening to this.

Precap: ViNa have returned home. Bhabho asks about the grandmother’s health and says she want to meet her. Meena tells Bhabho that she is still in the hospital and Bhabho tells she wants to see that hospital which Meena is appreciating so much.
