Diya Aur Baati Hum 7th September 2012 Written Update

Suraj informs RK that Sandhya and Bhabho are going to Chathuri’s village, so if he has any message to his family, he can tell them. He also tells him to pack some sweets for his family. Sandhya asks RK about the timing of bus to his village. He is dumb and Meena and Vikram are worried. Vikram thinks how will he know when he does not belong to that village and he shows his five fingers while Meena is showing three. Chotu quips there is bus for Chathuri’s village every half an hour as she used to tell him and RK somehow manages. He then leaves from there in a hush, not even answering pappuda who calls him.

Bhabho and Sandhya are ready to leave. Meena is thinking of how to stop them and about to fake giddiness when Bhabho calls her and tells not to do any work and to rest. She tells Chavvi to do all work. They get on the rikshaw and start moving. Meena is thinking of confessing her crime as once Sandhya gets to know Chavvi is not there in the village, she would right away find out that Meena killed her. She cries out Bhabho and comes running to them. All are shocked why she called so loudly. Meena tells Bhabho that she has made a big mistake and repeating the same fearing of telling anything further. Bhabho scolds her to tell the matter and when finally she tries to tell it, Suraj exclaims “Chathuri” and it is Chathuri’s call on his mobile. Meena could not believe and is relieved that she did not tell anything. Chathuri asks to give the phone to Sandhya and Sandhya speaks to her. Chathuri states she is fine and her mother’s health is improving and she may need some more time. Sandhya asks about money and Chathuri tells she had taken money and her purse with her and has enough money. Sandhya says they are coming to her village to visit them and Chathuri asks her not to come as everything is okay. A terrorist holds the gun to Chathuri’s head and she ends the call. She asks them who have covered their face with cloth why they have kept her there and what has she done to them. One of them moves out of the room while the other one ties a cloth closing Chathuri’s mouth and her hands are tied to the chair. The one who moves out of the room opens his cloth and it is RK. He has flashback of Chathuri’s fall and how he kidnaps an unconscious Chathuri to his place.

Bhabho is relieved after Chathuri’s phone call. Meena could not believe it. She asks Sandhya whether it was really Chathuri and Bhabho taunts her. Sandhya and Suraj assure her it was Chathuri. Sandhya is in confusion. Meena wonders then why did not Chathuri tell anything about Meena. They all go home and Meena goes to their shop. She sends the servant there to get payment from someone and calls her sister Sudha immediately. She tells Sudha to listen to her properly and informs her that Chathuri had called them. Sudha could not believe but she tells then, Meena is in trouble if Chathuri informs the family what happened. Meena tells her that Chathuri did not tell anything about Meena. Sudha tells Meena that Chathuri’s mother is sick story was created by Meena and how did Chathuri continue it and surely she might be in some trouble. Meena is in thoughts.

Suraj in the shop asks about RK to pappuda who says he went somewhere in a hurry. RK returns by then and excuses as he had gone to bring some things for his family to send them with Sandhya and Bhabho. Suraj feels sad for him and informs about Chathuri’s call. He tells it is okay and starts working. RK thinks Chathuri’s call has worked well and now he needs to find out his pendrive soon else he will be in danger. Sandhya comes there with a visiting card and gives it to Suraj. He tells her he was looking for that since morning and where she got it. Sandhya tells her eyesight is sharp and she found it in the hall and might have fallen from Suraj’s pocket along with other things the night before. RK listening to it and tells Suraj to get ID card done from the police station immediately as they need it while going to the temple. He tells him as the festival nears Suraj would be busy with shop. SurYa agree to it.

All the Rathi family except Suraj going to the police station. On their way, meet Daisa. Bhabho tells her they are going to make ID cards and in their convo, tell that everyone should take their photos with them for that purpose. Bhabhasa did not knew it and says he did not bring it. Bhabho scolds him then why did he nod his head when Sandhya told about this in the morning. Bhabhasa says Sandhya was holding breakfast plate and so he nodded yes for having it. Bhabho-Daisa usual teasing of each other. Sandhya tells she will bring Bhabhasa’s photos.

RK comes to the house and is searching for the pendrive while Sandhya is shown returning home. He is searching and is very near to the pendrive which is behind a sofa leg. Sandhya returns home and episode ends.

Precap: Sandhya seeing the post cover of the letter from Chathuri and looking at the postal stamps, finds out that the stamps are of Pushkar and a different village and not from Chathuri’s village. She concludes Chathuri is in some trouble.
