Diya Aur Baati Hum 7th November 2012 Written Update

Suraj is very emotional and teary and as he lifts his head, sees the time and there is just 20 minutes left for 5 o’clock. He remembers college closes at 5 and rushes.

Bhabho blesses Sandhya to be happy and leaves.

Suraj reaches the college in a rickshaw and as he is entering the college, drops the file and all the certificates fly in the air. He gets very anxious and collects all them and when he reaches the counter, it is closed. He shouts if somebody is there while knocking the shutters. No one replies and Suraj is shattered as he missed it.

Bhabho is doing some work. Meena is eating. Bhabhasa comes there with his kurta and asks Bhabho to sew a button as he needs to go out urgently. Bhabho refuses to do it. Sandhya brings him tea and offers to help. Bhabhasa insists that Bhabho do it but Bhabho encourages Sandhya to do it. Meena wonders why Bhabho is doing this and one day Sandhya would become an expert and she would be reduced to Chathuri’s position in the house. Sandhya brings the needle and thread and sits beside Bhabho. She is not able to thread the needle and Meena is having a good time laughing. Finally, Sandhya does it and Bhabho praises her telling nothing is difficult and if one has determination, they can learn everything fast, etc. she also reminds Sandhya that today Sandhya’s tailoring classes also starting. Sandhya declines it saying there is no need for that as she can learn everything from Bhabho but Bhabho has future plans of stitching SurYa kids clothes and curtains, etc., so she insists Sandhya to attend the class at 5:30. Sandhya stitched the button and returns it to Bhabhasa. He was confused all the while listening to Bhabho’s words and sees that Sandhya has stitched the button on the reverse side. Meena too notices but she cannot tell this to Bhabho because of maunvrath. Bhabhasa perplexed seeing it but then hides it. Bhabho is annoyed and asks him whether he is not getting late. Bhabhasa tells her that he remembers now that his jyotish had told to wear white kurta today.

Chavvi is getting ready and she suddenly remembers the convo on Dilip’s cousin sister from Mumbai. She sees a hairstyle on a book cover and wants to have it done. She thinks Bhabho would not allow her to do such and as Suraj is also not there, she would have this opportunity. Just then, Chavvi’s would-be MIL and the relative lady come there to take Chavvi to the function. Chavvi says them she is waiting for Suraj and would come with him and somehow manages to send them early to the function. The would-be MIL says she is leaving the car for Chavvi’s use.

Suraj shattered and walking in the street where Sandhya is also coming from the opposite side searching the tailoring center. Suraj sees the taxi stand and calls a jeep to go to Ajmer. Sandhya who has gone past him hears his voice and turns. She identifies him and wondering what he is doing there in Pushkar. She runs calling his name but the jeep has already gone. She wants to call his phone and goes to a telephone booth which someone is speaking on the phone and she had to wait. Then, the tailoring lady recognizes Sandhya and takes her to her tailoring institute.

Chavvi in the beauty parlor. In between coloring her hair, removes the necklace and keeps it on the shelf. She attends Suraj’s call and says him she is in the guest house and waiting for him. She attends another call from Dilip also. Finally, she is happy with her hairstyle and pays the beautician and leaves forgetting her necklace.

Suraj in the guest house calls Chavvi’s mobile. Chavvi says she is in the house only while she is wearing an artificial set worrying over how Bhabho would scold her as she could not keep the jewelry safe for one day and also the parlor has been closed when she went back again. Suraj keeps the certificates in his suitcase. Chavvi comes to Suraj’s room. Suraj asks her where she had been and she says she was there only and asks him to get ready saying she will wait for him.

The tailoring lady brings Sandhya to her institute. More ladies are shown learning stitching. She takes Sandhya to a hand-operated machine as it is the first day and asks her to thread the needle. Sandhya is doing it wrong and she corrects her and asks her to call her once threading the needle. Sandhya tries to do it while thinking about what could be the reason Suraj had come to Pushkar leaving Chavvi alone in Ajmer.

Precap: Seems like something has gone wrong with Sandhya. The tailoring lady has come to Rathi house with a crowd of ladies including Daisa. She tells Bhabho that she has heard of Sandhya’s bravery like she fought with the bull, saved Pushkar from bomb blast, etc. Sandhya is nervous. Bhabho, Meena all are wondering what happened.
