Diya Aur Baati Hum 6th July 2012 Written Update

Episode continues from SurYa convo with Suraj telling Sandhya knows a lot of things and Sandhya replies that her professors used to tell for IPS… and pauses. She then changes topic to getting photos of them there. She clicks a photo of Suraj and Suraj clicks hers. She tells they will have a photo of both and ask a passerby to help them. That person asks them to stand near and is about to click, a policeman interrupts them saying it is not allowed there. Sandhya tells it is not written anywhere as photography not allowed so they did not know. That policeman asks them to pay fine and Suraj is ready to pay the fine as he does not want to get into trouble in an unknown city. Sandhya is angry at the policeman and just notices his belt, stars, stick and gets suspicious. She asks the policeman to show his ID. That policeman does not agree to show and advises Suraj to control his wife. Suraj tells her not to get into trouble but Sandhya tells the policeman is not a real police else he would have shown his ID. That person is scared and tries to move from there. Sandhya runs behind him and stops him from going from there. By then, a real policeman comes from behind and catches that person and thanks Sandhya from helping him to catch that person. Suraj is surprised how Sandhya found out that he was a cheater and then he himself answers that definitely Sandhya’s grandfather or great grandfather must have been a policeman. Then, they leave for the contest.

Near Qutub Minar, the contest had been arranged. The organizer introduces the judge to the contestants. Then, he tells the contestants can cook anything they like and do not have any restrictions. The winner will be judged by tourists who will come there. Each contestant will be given glass pot with their name on that. The tourists are allowed to eat the dishes prepared by the contestant by Rs. 50 per plate and the money will be put in the glass pot. Finally, whose dish is sold more, i.e., who gets more money will be the winner. Also, the money collected is given to an orphanage. The organizer asks the contestants to give their valuables to their relatives. Sandhya comes to take the purse from Suraj. He asks her what to cook and Sandhya suggests malpua.

All the contestants start cooking and finish their cooking as their given time ends. Tourists are allowed there. People looking at different dishes and eating what they like. Noone is buying from Suraj. Suraj is thinking why noone is eating what he has prepared. Sandhya is thinking why people are not liking malpua. SurYa are worried.

In between Chathuri’s prem kahaani is shown. She is collecting clothes from the balcony and praying/scolding God what he has decided, to get her married or let her be single. A person with suitcase is walking down the streets. Chathuri drops a duppatta and it falls over that person. Chathuri runs down to get it back. That person is forever struggling to remove the dupatta that has covered his head. A cycle is coming and Chathuri moves him to the side to avoid him getting injured and falls over him. After falling, the person removes the duppatta. Chathuri is in dreamland. He asks her to get up as he is not able to breath. She gets up and then takes the dupatta and goes to the house. That person calls her and asks whether she is Chathuri. Chathuri exclaims “yes” and the person says Ishwar has sent him there. Chathuri is excited and thinks God Ishwar has sent him. Then, that person tells he is new to Pushkar and has come in search of job and some Ishwar kaka from the village told him to meet Chathuri and get help. Chathuri tells Surajsa knows many people and he will sure get him a job and asks that person to come the next day. That person leaves and she calls him to ask his name. He tells “Rajkumar” and Chathuri says him to come the next day without miss.

Precap: Contest finished. All the glass pots are placed in a table. The organizer tells they have finalized the winner and is creating suspense as to who the winner is. Suraj is praying and Sandhya worried.
