Diya Aur Baati Hum 31st August 2012 Written Update

Sandhya is teaching Chavvi who is not interested in studying. Suraj sees them through the window and goes. Sandhya moves on to second chapter. Chavvi says she is feeling sleepy so she will study the next day. Sandhya tells her they have very little time so asks her to study more. Chavvi is giving excuses. By then, Suraj comes there with two cups of coffee. He gives a cup to Chavvi and advises her to study well that she gets more marks to which Chavvi says she just wants to pass and does not need more marks. Sandhya asks why she is not interested in getting more marks and Chavvi replies what has Sandhya got even after getting third rank in whole of Rajasthan, she is just doing house chores. Sandhya says let them not worry about marks now. She starts a new chapter saying it is an interesting one and Chavvi says this is difficult but Sandhya explains it giving an example of rasgulla and explains it. Chavvi wonders how well she explained that it is so easy to understand for her. Suraj who is listening to their convo asks Chavvi whether rasgulla is there in her book. She says that Sandhya gave the example of sweet to just explain to her. Suraj smiles and says Sandhya is showing signs of being a halwaii’s wife. Sandhya says smiling that she is indeed the wife of WTC winning cook.

Policemen are having a meeting regarding how to be alert and prevent any terrorist activity in Pushkar. They allot areas for each one for vigilance. One of the policeman tells the terrorists are very sharp and easily change their get-ups and names and shows some sketches of terrorists saying their names and one of them he says Anurag and it resembles RK.

Brandon opens his laptop and sees Wi-Fi signal. He is excited. SurYa come out of Chavvi’s room. He calls Sandhya and asks for Wi-Fi password. Suraj wonders what and Sandhya explains him what is Wi-Fi connection in detail to him. Sandhya says they have no Wi-Fi connection but Brandon says he could detect signal in his laptop. Sandhya too sees it and wonders how it is possible. They show RK working with his laptop in the shop. Sandhya suspects the signal must be somewhere very close to the house. She then asks Suraj to go and sleep as she is going to stay with Chavvi. Suraj says he is not feeling sleepy and will stay back with Brandon. Sandhya says Brandon is going to sleep but Brandon first says no but then after Sandhya hints him, tells he is feeling too sleepy and goes with his laptop.

Meena is having a dream where Bhabho and Sandhya have called police to handcuff Meena. Meena is crying she has not done anything but Bhabho says Sandhya is no less than policewoman and she has found out about her. Meena wakes from her sleep and thinks of being very careful with Sandhya.

Sandhya, Chotu and Brandon assemble in the hall. They are planning some surprise for Suraj. Brandon goes to his room to bring something. Sandhya asks Chotu whether anyone in their mohalla brought computer/laptop when they were in Singapore. Chotu says no but Sandhya insists him to remember again. He says even if someone coughs, it will be known to the whole mohalla and computer/laptop is a big thing. She also asks whether there is any new cyber caf opened anywhere near. Brandon comes there with some boxes.

Meanwhile, they show RK speaking with his superiors and telling them everything is fine and he will start making the bomb immediately. He then does some work. The TV which he said is his friends is open and he is connecting some capacitors, wires, etc.

Sandhya, Chotu and Brandon come to the shop. Sandhya tries to open the shutter. RK listens to the sounds and keeps his things aside and covers them hurriedly with a blanket before Sandhya opens the shutter. She sees the TV and is surprised. RK says it is his friends and he was servicing it. Chotu also says they watched WTC on this TV and then it got repaired. RK tells he knows repair work as he worked with an electrician for some days in the village. Brandon sees the tools and asks him if he can use them. RK pretends to not understand his English and Sandhya translates for him. Then, they keep the WTC certificates and trophy in the rack and have a big photo of Suraj with WTC winning trophy. They select a place for it and Sandhya tries to fix a nail. By that time, RK notices that his headset is visible as the blanket is not covered properly. Sandhya drops the nail and is looking for it. RK is scared whether she will see the headset.

Precap: SurYa scene. They seem to be having a convo and Sandhya leaves from there. Suraj catches her hand and kisses it.
