Diya Aur Baati Hum 29th August 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Suraj asking Sandhya for his gift. She asks what does he like. Suraj hesitates and tells she has to find out herself what he likes. Sandhya says bike and Suraj says no and he would not even like car. Sandhya asks him to tell as she could not guess. Suraj hesitates and is about to tell something that Chotu interrupts them saying some officer is calling him.

DSP introduces his wife to Suraj and says she is a big fan of him and have not missed any WTC episode. She also cooked Suraj baati after seeing the final WTC episode. She congratulates Suraj and he says it is all because of their support that he could win. He excuses from them and goes to call Bhabho-Bhabhasa.

Chavvi’s friends see DSP’s wife and she happens to be their professor. They alert Chavvi and she runs to the house from there seeing her professor. Suraj brings Bhabho-Bhabhasa and introduces them to DSP and his wife. Bhabho calls Sandhya and introduces her to them and says Sandhya is the reason for Suraj’s success.

DSP’s wife recognizes Sandhya and asks whether she is Sandhya Kothari who got third rank in second year examinations. Bhabho is not pleased to hear this but Suraj says she is right and Sandhya is very intelligent. He whispers to Sandhya that she is so intelligent that she would find out what he likes by seeing through his eyes. DSP’s wife says she was present during Sandhya’s felicitation ceremony too and asks why her family members were not there then. Sandhya diverts the topic. DSP’s wife again asks her how is she preparing for her IPS but Sandhya again diverts the topic and tells she will bring sweets for them and goes from there. DSP’s wife also goes behind her a little distant and stops Sandhya. She asks why is Sandhya changing the topic and is hesitant to speak on it. Sandhya says now she is someone’s wife and she has other responsibilities too. DSP’s wife says even she is someone’s wife and has a child too but she manages both house and her career. She advises Sandhya to think over it and not to give up.

The policeman follows Meena who is scared and stops her and asks why is she scared, has she done anything wrong. Meena says nothing but he says people like you who do wrong are scared and tells her to accept her mistake. Meena is scared and dumb what to say and the policeman himself says it is matter of 750 rupees and Meena is relieved hearing this. The policeman says his wife had bought saree worth of 750 rupees from their shop and it did not stand one wash. Meena tells him to advise his wife not to use cheap detergents and to use quality detergents for such good sarees. Policeman thinks she is right.

Sandhya serves sweets to DSP and his wife. During their convo, DSP gets a call and he attends it. Sandhya then asks him about the article on terrorist that she read in the morning. DSP says it is true and people should alert them if they doubt anyone. RK is listening to their convo from behind. DSP then wants to see Suraj’s shop and they take them to the shop. While entering the shop, DSP misses his step and RK supports him while DSP’s wife leaves her purse on the showcase. Suraj introduces RK to DSP and he thanks RK for helping. RK sarcastically says sometimes we do not see things properly even if they are in front of them.

Late in the night, DSP and his wife come back to Hanuman galli. RK notices them, is doubtful and closes the shutter of the shop halfway and watches them. They go to Rathi’s house and knock the door. Bhabho wonders who could be it. She opens the door and finds DSP and his wife. They tell she has missed her purse somewhere and did they find any. They also tell they had their house keys in it and the maid and child are asleep and did not open the door so they had to disturb them late in the night. Bhabho says Sandhya found a purse and her eyesight is very sharp. She calls them in saying she will call Sandhya.

In SurYa room, Sandhya is removing her earrings and Suraj comes to her. He says he is waiting for his gift. Sandhya tells she could not guess and asks him to tell himself. He tells it in her ears and she feels shy. Promo scene with BG. At the end of BG, Bhabho calls Sandhya and she goes.

Precap: Bhabho, Sandhya, DSP and his wife are there in the hall. Chavvi unaware of it comes to the hall looking for something and Bhabho calls her to introduce to her professor/DSP’s wife. Chavvi is shocked seeing her.
