Diya Aur Baati Hum 27th June 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with the lady asking Bhabho about Sudha. Chavvi is about to tell something, Bhabho stops her and speaks. She says Sudha is educated, knows English too and will not fear to do anything for family’s sake and she can proceed with the proposal. That lady thanks Bhabho saying she is relieved now and leaves. Bhabho scolds Chavvi for talking in between. Chavvi back answers saying Bhabho expects everyone to tell the truth and she does not follow it. Bhabho explains Chavvi that she did not lie and explained what she said to that lady. Bhabho is worried in general for all the girls and wishes them to get married soon. Sandhya is admiring Bhabho.

Sandhya is about to go and Bhabho asks her about doctor’s appointment for Meena. Sandhya says she has taken the appointment and tells the time. Bhabho asks Sandhya to go with Meena. Sandhya asks Bhabho to go with her as it is Meena’s first appointment and it would be better if someone older and wiser like Bhabho goes with her. Bhabho tells her that she has so many work including making papads. Sandhya tells she will make papads. Bhabho taunts her for her papad-making skills and how the rolling pin was dancing in the hall. She says she will come back and do it and leaves from there.

Sandhya and Bhabhasa are left. Sandhya tells him she has a plan and it is noontime and they have to hurry to make it. She tells that Bhabho knows very well that Sandhya cannot roll papads and then everything is mute to the viewers.

Suraj is inquiring Chotu about the letter and Sandy’s reaction to it. Before Chotu tells anything to him, Sandhya comes there. She does not respond to any of Suraj’s questions and just takes Chotu from there saying they are playing a new game. They both leave and Suraj is surprised.

Meena and Bhabho at doctor’s office. Bhabho is politely asking doctor to check her DIL. Doctor takes Meena for testing.

Sandhya, Chotu, Chathuri and Bhabhasa gathered in the hall. Sandhya closes the door. Chotu and Chathuri are excited for the new game. Bhabhasa tells Chathuri that they are going to do something that would make Suraj’s life. Chathuri replies then she can even break mountains. She goes to inform Suraj and Sandhya stops her saying they are not informing Suraj too. Sandhya brings the papad dough and tells them that they are going to do papad. Chathuri scares them of Bhabho but then they all agree to make it before Bhabho returns. They divide the work among themselves. Bhabhasa says he will make small round balls of the dough, Chathuri tells she will roll papads, Chotu says he will dry it and they all ask what Sandhya will do and she after some thought says she will roll papads too. All are shocked. Sandhya goes inside and brings roti pressor machine. She explains them it is roti pressing machine and was gifted by someone during marriage and it is of help now. She demonstrates pressing a papad and all are surprised to see that.

Doctor has finished checking Meena and says she and her baby are fine. Meena thinks of a plan to allow her from not working and acts innocent and tells the doctor that her MIL treats her like maid, she works so hard and does not get enough time to sleep and she is worried for the well-being of her baby. Doctor wonders as she could see Bhabho as very caring. Meena again tells the doctor that Bhabho appears good before others and tells if something happens to the baby, Meena would not be alive too. Bhabho is worried why they are taking so much time and gets up to see but then stops herself.

Suraj in the shop is wondering why Sandhya is not speaking to him and decides to manaofy her.

Doctor and Meena are back and Meena is scared whether the doctor might help or not. Bhabho asks whether her DIL and baby are fine. Doctor tells they are fine but Meena is weak so she needs much care, good food, rest and less work. Bhabho agrees and asks the doctor to give strength tonic/tablet for Meena and doctor gives her the prescription. Bhabho asks about fees and doctor tells them to pay outside. Bhabho takes a small bag from Meena saying she will hold it.

In the house, all are into their work and someone knocks the door. All are scared and Bhabhasa scares them more saying whether Bhabho has returned quickly.

Precap: Bhabho and Meena knocking the door. Chathuri tells only a few dough balls are left to be rolled. Bhabho is shouting outside. Next scene, door is opened and Bhabho and Meena are shocked.
