Diya Aur Baati Hum 18th October 2013 Written Episode

Bhabho informs all that she had been cheated and all the jewels were fake. All are shocked.

Suraj consoles Sandhya saying she need not worry as she had tried her best and even informed police about it. He says he understands why Bhabho was so much worried and lost. He asks about the worth of jewels and Sandhya says Bhabho had bought total 5.5 lakhs worth jewels and three sets of it from Dilip’s side. Suraj assures he will arrange for money and they return home.

Bhabho explains her family how they got to know of the fake jewels after the robbery incident. Vikram asks her why she did not inform him immediately and Mohit taunts why she did not go to police. Bhabhasa informs them that Bhabho did another mistake by not getting valid receipt. Vikram says he did not expect this from Bhabho. He asks why she did not take any of her sons to the shop instead of Chavvi who is shocked and tearful. Meena tells him it is all Chavvi’s fault as she was behind Bhabho to buy jewels from that particular shop. Chavvi defends saying she just liked the designs and did not know that they were selling fake jewels. Bhabhasa stops them from talking and points out that they all were busy pointing out each others mistakes and so Bhabho could not share her sorrow with them. He asks them to think what needs to be done further. He also reminds them that three sets of jewelry was from Chavvi’s in-laws side and they should not know about this. Mohit says Vikram can help them as his business is good and Vikram scolds him for eyeing his shop and Bhabhasa shouts at them to stop fighting. Vikram says he had just 50,000 rupees and he has already given it and has no more left. Mohit also says he could not help.

Meena gives them an idea. She reminds Bhabho of a fixed deposit of Suraj’s WTC money and tells it was saved for such purposes and they can break the deposit and it is lot more. Mohit agrees it is a good idea and asks Bhabho to speak to Suraj. Vikram also agrees with it.

SurYa in auto thinking about how to arrange money. Sandhya asks him to break the deposit of WTC money which was made for Chavvi’s marriage. Suraj is hesitant but Sandhya tells it is the only immediate remedy and they cannot see Bhabho’s dream of Chavvi’s marriage fail. Suraj says Bhabho might not agree to break the FD and advises they talk to Bhabho about it and think further.

Bhabho does not agree to break the FD and says it is deposited for Chavvi’s marriage expenses and Vikram reminds her the same as it is for Chavvi’s marriage, they can take it now. Meena explains him why Bhabho is not agreeing as she has sent Suraj out of the house and warned them not to take any help from Suraj. Vikram and Mohit ask Bhabho to give up her ego and stubbornness and take Suraj’s help.

Bhabho tells she agrees to break the FD and get Chavvi’s jewels but in some months when Chavvi’s marriage gets fixed, they might need around 8 lakhs and asks whether Vikram and Mohit would be able to arrange that money. Vikram and Mohit are speechless. Meena signals Vikram not to agree. Bhabho asks them why are they quiet now and Bhabhasa is frustrated by their silence.

Mohit starts his advice saying at difficult times, they need to check their expenses. He advises her to buy the jewels now and when marriage is fixed in three or four months, she can arrange it in a simple manner. Meena adds saying Dilip’s parents do not like grand celebrations and also this is like a love marriage, so them getting jewels for Chavvi is more than enough.

Bhabho is hurt and asks Vikram about group marriages held in Pushkar. Vikram appreciates it is a good idea and they can manage with just 20,000. Bhabho is very much hurt and appreciates him sarcastically. She gets up and goes to him. She says he has made her proud today and wishes everyone get a son and brother like Vikram. She gets very emotional and hurt. She finally says she expected this from both Vikram and Mohit. She asks Chavvi to not cry as her parents are alive and would celebrate her marriage grandly.

Bhabho asks ViNa and Mombatti not to worry about Chavvi’s marriage and she has found out a way. She asks Meena to give back her jewels which Meena misunderstands and Bhabho clarifies her to give her kamarband. Meena gives it immediately and asks what is she going to do. Bhabho tells she will sell this and can manage to buy three sets of jewelry to give it to Chavvi’s in-laws.

Precap: Bhabho-Bhabhasa and Vikram and Mohit are going to market in rickshaw. Emily calls Mohit to inform that Dilip’s parents have come home. Mohit informs this to Bhabho.
