Diya Aur Baati Hum 16th October 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Sandhya asking forgiveness from Bhabo and also catching ears in order to melt Bhabo. Bhabo finally melts and warns her, says she has been forgiven for this time and from next time, she should do the kitchen cleaning timely. Bhabo goes to courtyard and asks everyone to go for bathing.

Suraj wore a nice new kurta and Sandhya were looking at her slyly and when Suraj turned to look at her, she went to the other side. Sandy with her badmashi, says it is looking good, Suraj says thanks and Sandy says I am talking about these blankets nearby Sandhya finally compliments Suraj and says he is looking handsome, and Suraj returns the compliments Suraj further says he smile should always linger on her face, and Sandy is blushing

Chaturi compliments Suraj as well. Meena is jealous and says everyone is looking nice, not only Suraj. Bhabo says this is the 1st time she is seeing this Kurta, and says when he bought it. Suraj says Ankur gifted it on their visit to their house. A Postman comes with an ATM card, Bhabo asks Mohit what is that, Mohit explains that it is for Suraj and Suraj will now draw money or shop by just using this card.

Suraj asks Bhabo to keep the card with her, in order to appease Bhabo Mohit gives all the other necessary papers to Bhabo Bhabo is busy in kitchen, cooking food. Sandhya comes to her, says she has cleaned all the utensils which would be used to give food to the Brahmins. Bhabo now asks Sandhya that what happened to her that now she is acting as if the Brahmins are please she will be given a blessing and if something happens a curse will befall on her In the Puja, Suraj prays that Bhabo agrees to SurYa dream and pleads to God to make Bhabo realise that Sandhya’s dream will elevate their family prestige rather than ruining it.

At kitchen, Sandhya is cooking and thinking about how the events will unfold and whether Bhabo would agree or not, Bhabo comes and goes to add Dhania, says Sandhya has brought suaa in place of Dhania and is angry on her now. Sandhya is preparing to break the coconut, Meena sees from back and is delighted to know that Sandhya doesn’t know about the rituals and a man should be breaking the coconut. Bhabo comes to courtyard and sees Sandhya about to break the coconut, shouts out Ruk Beedni in order to stop her. But that was too late, Sandhya managed to break the coconut.
