Diya Aur Baati Hum 15th August 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Gary introducing the special judges for the finals to everyone. He asks the participants family members to wish for the contestants. Jayant wishes for Mathie and the kid asks his mother to buy his favorite toy if she wins and Mathie assures him. Gary calls for Brandon’s family members and he says there is no one for him as he is an orphan. Bhabho comes forward and wishes for him saying though she could not understand the language itself, she can at least understand what he is saying and says he is like her son. Brandon thanks Bhabho. Gary calls for Suraj’s family members and Bhabhasa goes to speak. He gets emotional and says he is very proud of Suraj today as reaching to this point itself is a great thing. Bhabho too gets emotional and wishes for Suraj. Gary asks Sandhya to say something to inspire Suraj. Sandhya is shy and Bhabho scolds her saying she blabbers all the time and now she is not speaking. Sandhya says “wo ai nee” to Suraj, he smiles and Bhabho does not understand what she is saying. Gary then tells them that today the contestants will be at a different place and the family members and others will be sitting at a different place where they can watch the contestants on the TV screen.

Rathis house, all are watching WTC on TV. Chotu says today Suraj will win and Vikram says him today the other 2 contestants will lose. Chotu understands the meaning of Vikram’s words and says both mean the same and Vikram praises him. Meanwhile, Meena is actioning Sudha to move near RK and hold his hand. Sudha hesitatingly moves near RK and he observes it so she becomes quiet. Vikram calls Chathuri to bring water but Meena says Chathuri has gone to market and asks Chavvi to bring water and some snacks for herself. Chavvi goes reluctantly. Suddenly, the TV gets off and Mohit offers to repair it and wants to open the back of the TV. RK is shocked and he avoids it saying it is his friend’s TV and he does not want to mess it. All are worried as to how to watch the program. Someone suggests Daisa’s name and everyone appreciate it and agree to go to Daisa’s house. Meena is unwilling and gives excuse of following Bhabho’s orders. Vikram understands she is up to some plan and all others go to Daisa’s house. Chotu asks Meena to send Chathuri also to Daisa’s house as she will be willing to watch the program. RK asks Meena and takes the TV to the room inside.

Chathuri speaking to her Ishwar kaka in the market and kaka denies sending any RK to Chathuri and the only Rajkumar he knows is settled in Jaipur. Chathuri is shocked and shows a photo of RK which she had got while cleaning the shop. Kaka sees it and tells he is seeing him for the first time and bets that he does not belong to their village. Chathuri is in disbelief and RK is listening to all this standing near a shop.

WTC, the family members are made to sit in a room. Bhabho-Bhabhasa nok-jhok regarding watching Suraj on TV and TV cameras being placed in their room and they will also be seen on TV. Gary comes there and takes a seat. The three finalist contestants enter a room and the room is locked.

Gary speaks to the contestants through the mike and announces them that there are 2 tables in the room. One has baskets and the other has around 15 closed lids with ingredients below them and some of them may not have any ingredient also. Each participant is allowed to open 3 lids and even if they touch the lid also, it is counted and they have to open that lid and collect the ingredient. Some of the lids may not have any ingredient also. Mathie has the highest points so she gets the first chance to select ingredients, then Brandon and lastly Suraj as he has got the least points. Bhabho is worried Mathie would select all the ingredients first and Suraj might not get any.

Precap: Mathie selects 3 lids and gets her ingredients. Brandon selects his and gets some ingredients. Sandhya watching it calculates out of 15 lids, Mathie got 3, Brandon got 2 (or 3, not sure) and so Suraj has more chances of opening empty lids and is worried.
