Diya Aur Baati Hum 13th June 2012 Written Update

Episode starts with Meena asking Bhabho to forgive her and an angry Bhabho slaps her and tells she does not deserve to be in the house and to leave the house. Meena agrees that she has done a big mistake, she does not deserve to be in the house and she would have left the house and would have left the world too but because she is pregnant, she is unable to do so. All are shocked and no one is ready to believe. Vikram asks her how low can she fall and how much lies she can tell. Chavvi and Mohit ask Bhabho not to believe Meena. Meena asks Sandhya to believe her as she finds out truth and lies easily. Sandhya warns her to not lie again. Meena tells she knows why Sandhya cannot believe her and blurts out that Sandhya knows that Meena is using contraceptive pills but after that incident, she stopped using those pills for fear of Bhabho. Bhabho is shocked to hear this. Meena curses herself in mind why could not she control her tongue as Bhabho knows the contraceptive pills truth also. Bhabho sees Sandhya with tearful eyes and has flashbacks of how Meena herself was accusing Sandhya for using pills and how Sandhya told Bhabho that she was not lying then. None in the family are believing Meena and Meena fakes getting unconscious. Sandhya asks Chavvi to call a doctor.

Meena is on the cot. Sandhya is sitting by her leg side. Meena opens her eyes slowly, faking not to know where she is and wondering whether she has been thrown out. Then, she puts her pallu over head and speaks to Sandhya. Sandhya warns her not to lie again regarding baby and how fatal it would be for Meena if it is a lie. Just then doctor arrives and Sandhya leaves. Meena is grumbling for whatever happened and questioning herself what to do now. (missed her dialogues)… looks like she says something like she had plans of aborting before and now has to change her mind.

Doctor announces that Meena is pregnant. Except SurYa and Bhabhasa, none are happy. Sandhya closes the door as the doctor leaves. She comes to Bhabho and greets her for becoming dadisa. She requests Bhabho to forgive Meena for the baby’s sake. She tells Bhabho that as motherhood makes a woman complete and they realize their responsibilities, Meena would realize too and change herself.

Meena is at the doorstep of her room and watching all this convo and giving appropriate reactions.

Vikram disagrees with Sandhya that women like Meena will not change and she should not be forgiven and blames the child would also be like Meena. Sandhya asks him to not blame the child. She tells him even he is at fault for supporting Meena’s petty lies and if he had not supported her from the beginning, Meena would not have had the courage to do anything bigger. She also tells him that she respects Bhabho more as she sees her husband respecting his mother and if Vikram had also done so, Meena would have learnt from him to respect Bhabho. Suraj is happy listening this.

Sandhya goes to Bhabho and tells her that it is difficult to forget whatever happened but requests her to think of future than sulking on the past, to see the happiness of the family when the baby will be amongst them and to forgive Meena.

Bhabho decides Meena will not leave. Sandhya is happy and goes to bring sweets to all. Vikram warns Bhabho that she is taking wrong decision and Meena will never change. Bhabho tells him that Meena has gone out of her heart and out of the house too. It is just that Meena’s baby is living in the house and not Meena and another mistake by her, Meena will not be lucky to be forgiven.

Sandhya brings laddoos and feeds Bhabhasa first greeting him for becoming dada, then Mohit, then Vikram who unwillingly takes it, then Bhabho who takes one and finally she reaches Suraj. Just one laddoo is left, she greets him for becoming bade papa. He divides the laddoo into 2 and feeds Sandhya greeting her for becoming bade maa.

SurYa room balcony. Suraj is ready to shave and Sandy watering the potted plant there. Sandy asks why Suraj did not inform her that night and Suraj tells her that he wanted to but he was in hurry to reach Mt. Abu soon. He then tells Sandy that she handled the issue so well today that even he could not have done. He says he does know how to praise Sandy. She tells him that she has suffered the misery of family disintegrating and would never allow such thing to happen and regarding praising, it need not be big words but a small smile would also do it. Suraj smiles and Sandy too. Bhabho calls her from down whether she is watering a single pot or the whole garden. Sandy takes the water bucket and leaves. Suraj is watching her. Then, he looks at the mirror for shaving, sees he has applied cream to the moustache also. He remembers how Sandy was praising the male puppet looking good with moustache, he removes the cream from his moustache.

Precap: Sandy in a beautiful pink saree. Bhabho tells Sandy that she wants to give her some responsibility and will she be able to manage it.
