Diya Aur Baati Hum 12th September 2012 Written Update

Suraj informs Bhabho that they had gone to report Chathuri’s missing complaint to police station and tells them about Sandhya’s doubts regarding letter, Chathuri calling Suraj’s new mobile number and what the inspector there told them everything. Meena is scared. Bhabho is shocked to hear this and prays for Chathuri’s well-being. She tells she cannot forgive herself if anything wrong happens to Chathuri and asks Meena to light diyas in temple. Ankur states he has lot of work and wants to go. Bhabho stops him saying he cannot go without having lunch. She also says that Sandhya will be cooking for them. Ankur and Ankita are surprised. Sandhya is uncomfortable and Suraj sees it. Bhabho praises Sandhya has learnt everything and she will cook kheer for them. Ankita wants to help Sandhya but Bhabho tells her to rest and Bhabho will go with Sandhya.

Bhabho and Sandhya go to kitchen. Sandhya is puzzled what to do and remembers the last time she tried to make kheer by mixing rice and milk. Bhabho tells her she will teach to make kheer and show Ankur how Sandhya has learnt cooking. She asks her to take rice, sugar and milk. Chavvi calls Bhabho that Maasa is on the phone and Bhabho is startled. She goes to attend the call. Sandhya does not know what to do as Bhabho went without giving her any instructions. She tells this time she will start with boiling milk and when she tries to lift milk vessel which is little hot, Suraj comes for her help. Sandhya says she does not know to make kheer. Suraj tells her when she can manage all those big books, kheer is a small thing and he will teach her how to cook kheer. Sandhya tells him how she had tried to make kheer last time. He tells her to take a cup of rice. She takes a cup of rice and goes to put it in milk. He stops her and says to wash the rice first. He himself takes a vessel with water and washes the rice. Sandhya imitates him and tries to wash the rice with him. BG playing and SurYa playing with water while washing rice. Then, they both add the rice to the milk. Sandhya tells him they have added a cup of rice to about 2 L milk, so she will add 2 cups of sugar. Suraj says her hands are sweet and one cup of sugar is enough. Sandhya adds sugar and Suraj is stirring. Sandhya wants to stir it and he gives the handle to her and later holds her hand and is stirring. Bhabho comes by then and Sandhya first sees her and tells “Bhabho.” Suraj thinks she is lying and turns slowly and is shocked to see Bhabho. He startles and tells Bhabho that he came to drink water. Bhabho scolds him saying guests are at home and he is in the kitchen helping his wife. She scolds herself for having taught him cooking. Sandhya says the kheer is almost done to divert Bhabho but she does not stop. She then tells Suraj that Sandhya will only learn properly if he scolds her while teaching and he says he was scolding her too. Bhabho asks him to scold Sandhya in front of her. He starts with “Sandhyaji” and Bhabho points to it, he then tells “Sandhya” and Bhabho teases him and tells him to leave from there. Bhabho’s next attention is to Sandhya. Sandhya is scared but then tells the kheer is almost done. Bhabho taunts her that Suraj might have added milk, rice and sugar and asks her to add almonds to it and cook it in slow fire.

In the shop, RK is packing laddoos and he is having flashbacks of Sandhya asking him whether Chathuri had any fight with anyone when they were at Singapore and that of when Sandhya gives the pendrive to police, the incidents at police station, etc and is angry on Sandhya as she is oversmart and interfering with his work. Chotu comes running saying the dress he is getting stitched for Chotu is wonderful. It is not yet stitched fully but whatever Chotu saw in the tailor’s shop was too good. RK having a evil smile listening to it.

Bhabho, Bhabhasa, Chavvi, Suraj, Ankita and Ankur at dining table. Sandhya is serving them. Bhabho asks Ankur to start with sweet, that is kheer made by his sister. Ankur having flashback and gets emotional.

Flashback start:
Sandhya with her studies as usual. Ankur comes hurriedly saying he is very hungry. Sandhya tells him to wait till their mother and Ankita return home. Ankur teases her saying how other sisters would cook for their brothers and here Sandhya is just studying all the time. Sandhya laughs but then tells him what does he like and she will prepare. Ankur cannot believe it. Sandhya brings some pamplets of hotels and asks him what he want and she will order. He teases her again saying he has to wait for how many janams to eat food prepared by his sister and Sandhya says it is impossible even if he waits for 7 janams. She is made to be an IPS officer and if she orders food from outside, they will be served quicker than for other people.
Flashback end.

Ankur is emotional and everyone ask him what. He says the kheer is delicious, Bhabhasa too agrees with it and Suraj goes ahead describing it and Bhabho stares at him. He stops and then asks Bhabhasa about it and they both agree. He then tells he will have one more cup of kheer and Sandhya serves him another cup. Suraj is lost staring Sandhya and Bhabho getting angry and says him to move his plate and he moves it too. All are shocked.

Precap: Suraj brings Chathuri’s missing posters. He tells Bhabho that he and RK will post it in the streets. Sandhya asks him to put it near temples, market and other places so that someone would see it and give them information.
