Disha Savla to play a double role in Neeli Chatri Waale

Neeli Chatri Waale goes the thriller way in the 2 hour ‘Maha Movie’ episode on Sunday, 29th November. Disha Savla will play a double role for the first time in the show and will be seen as Bobby jasoos… If you are thinking the actress will be copying Vidya Balan from her spy movie, naah … not really ! This one’s a spy with a difference. It will be a thrilling episode of the two ‘humshakals’ where Bobby Jasoos aka Begum Bemurravat, taking advantage of her resemblance to Bobby (played by Disha Savla) enters the Choubey household and wreaks havoc in Bobby;s life. The actress took fight lessons and worked on a distinctly different body language a month prior to the shoot to essay the role of Begum Bemurravat with finesse.

Says Disha, “I was so excited to shoot the episode as it brought me out of the comfort zone of playing Bobby for the past one year. I had to don three different looks in one of the episodes a few months ago but this is totally different. It was exciting as I had to work on my gait, body language, accent and mannerisms.”

Get ready to watch the thrilling episode where the crime branch is on the lookout for Begum Bemurravat (BB), a spy from a foreign country who is a look-alike of Bobby. They end up arresting poor Bobby by mistake. BB, taking advantage of her uncanny resemblance to Bobby, enters the Choubey household and starts living as Bobby. Sparks are bound to fly when Bobby and BB come face to face!
