Dil Se Di Dua Saubhagyavati Bhava 4th September 2012 Written Update by Naina
The episode starts off with Gayatri slapping Viraj, telling the police to take him away right then. Viraj angrily grabs a gun from the policeman standing next to him, and screams out Gayatri’s name as he fires a gunshot. Everyone is shocked and Raghav and the policemen quickly spring into action, and Raghav punches Viraj, screaming out how dare he hurt his mother? He’ll never forgive him. So far, he’s forgiven all of Viraj’s mistakes because he’s ill but he doesn’t deserve any of it – Sundar being hurt, Tanisha, etc, and continues to try and hurt Viraj while the policemen attempt to hold him back. Gayatri screams out Raghav’s name and Raghav backs off slightly, controlling his tempter for the moment while Viraj angrily eggs him on, telling him that he should kill him because if he’s left alive, he’s going to destroy the Singhania family. He’s not going to spare a single person and there’s no jail that can hold Viraj Dobriyal. And the police take him away screaming and yelling for Jahnvi, leaving eeryone else with essentially disturbed.
Uma and Chotti immediately go over to hug Jahnvi, comforting her as they cry tears of relief. And Raghav goes towards his mother.
At the jail, Viraj is behind bars, screaming to the female police officer to let him go, as she doesn’t know who he is, but she’s not willing to take any of it as she tells him to shut up. She’s not his wife who’s going to listen to anything he says, and if he continues to speak, then she’s going to throw him somewhere else and walks away (I didn’t understand what the English translation was). Viraj is left screaming behind bars.
Raghav and Jahnvi at the police station signing the FIR as the police officer tells them that Jahnvi should have made this complaint the first time Viraj hurt her. And she agrees, saying that she should have done that but she didn’t have that much courage. And she held out that hope that he would change. The officer tells her that these very thoughts are what give people like Viraj more courage to go on. And tells them how important it is to tell the police because they’ll be able to step in before anything extreme happens. And Jahnvi replies by telling her that she knows it was late for her, but she’s holding out the hope that other women will learn from what she has been through. (I don’t know about anyone else but I really enjoyed this conversation. To me it covered everything – why a woman wouldn’t go to the police first thing, but also how important it is to do so as well.)
Jahnvi goes and hugs her Dadi, as both of them cry, telling each other that everything’s fine and everything will be fine. And Jahnvi has some emotional moments with her mother and sisters while Raghav looks on. Jahnvi asks for forgiveness from her family telling them to forgive her for because of her, Viraj did all that to their family. And Uma comforts her, telling her that in front of Jahnvi’s been through, what they gone through was nothing, and the two women cry out the pain and hurt they’ve been through, as Uma tells her daughter that she’s her mother, that there’s not only a blood relationship but something more. That Jahnvi’s not at fault, but it’s their fault for getting her married to someone like Viraj. And Uma looks over tearfully at Dadi, saying that she was always right, it just took her a while to understand.
Gayatri talking to Komal and Tanisha, telling them that what Jahnvi went through is something that no one else should go through. No other woman should go through this. After going through so much, the way she still stood in front of Viraj was worth appreciating. And she’s very happy that Raghav chose to help her. Hearing this, the other two women begin to smile, only to stop when Gayatri continues by saying that the method that Raghav and Jahnvi chose to go about this was wrong. The fake wedding, everything, that won’t be tolerated. And up until now, the family hasn’t tolerated any mistakes, and Raghav and Jahnvi won’t be let go of as well, and they’ll have to go to jail. Komal and Tanisha are shocked and Komal questions Gayatri asking her what they did wrong? If they had to lie to trap someone like Viraj, what’s wrong there? And Gayatri responds by telling them that Viraj was wrong, and she knows that the lies that Raghav and Jahnvi told were only to trap Viraj, but she also knows that you can’t hide your own mistakes in trying to uncover other people’s mistakes and now the court can decide. Komal continues to try to defend Raghav and Sia, saying that whatever they did was only for the family,t he house and Viraj was really dangerous for the family, and Gayatri is hurting as she says that what’s she’s doing is to uphold the family name.
Raghav and Jahnvi return to the Singhania mansion where there are police officers waiting and Gayatri, Komal, and Tanisha come downstairs. Gayatri explains to the police officers that in order to get out of jail, Raghav had fake married Jahnvi and Jahnvi had helped Raghav, and she wants to turn them over to court. Raghav and Jahnvi are stunned, but right then a lawyer enters saying that that’s not ncessary. There’s no case against Raghav or anything because the victim himself (Sundar) has said that Raghav is innocent. The family is initially confused but then overjoyed to hear that Sundar is conscious again. Raghav emotionally turns to Jahnvi and she smiles comfortingly in response. The police officer looks over the documents and says that Raghav is free from Sundar’s case but there’s also the issue of Raghav and Jahnvi having lied in the law and whatnot, and the laywer says he got anticipatory bail. And the lawyer explains that they’ll be fine in court. And Gayatri is relieved to hear this and the police officers/lawyer leave then.
Raghav and Jahnvi stand back, and when Jahnvi smiles encouragingly Raghav slowly walks up to Gayatri, and tells her sorrowfully that although they’re free in the name of the law, but they’re still wrong in her eyes, and jahnvi supports his words, saying that they need to get punished for their mistakes and they’re ok with anything. Gayatri agres and sternly tells he both of them that every wrong act can be punished and she’s made the decision that the two of tehm can’t live in the house anymore. Those who lie don’t have a place in the house and she doesn’t even want to see them again, and orders them to leave. Jahnvi is broken, while Raghav just looks down, not looking up at his mother, and the rest of the family is shocked as well. Jahnvi tries to defend Raghav, saying he did everything for her, to help her, but to please not kick Raghav out of the house, and Gayatri tells her that she’s given Raghav many chances but he hasn’t learned anything. If she had chosen to tell Gayatri then she would have handled it in her own way, but instead she chose to tell Raghav, who does straightforward things in a reverse manner as well. Jahnvi looks down sorrowfully, and Raghav tries to hide his pain/hurt. Jahnvi folds her hands in front of Gayatri and offers to leave the house, and pleads with Gayatri some more to give Raghav one more chance. But Gayatri refuses to listen, as she tells them that he doesn’t even want to change. That if Raghav had chosen to tell her the truth about Viraj, then this day wouldn’t have even come up. And it’s because of these repeated mistakes that she’s had to be embarrassed multiple times. And Gayatri is slowly breaking down, as she relays how she’s lost her elder son because of this behavior. And she can never forget this, doesn’t want to forget this. Raghav made a lot of enemies and that’s why Dev died. Raghav made teh mistakes and Dev suffered teh consequences. She composes herself again quickly, and orders teh two to get out at that instant. (This woman is such a good actor. Seriously. Wow. She managed the pain and anger and everything wonderfully and wow.)
When Raghav and Jahnvi stand there stunned, Gayatr grabs hold of Raghav’s hand and starts to drag him out, but Krish holds on to his uncle’s leg, and Gayatri orders Komal to take Krish inside. The boy is broken to see this, still struggling with his mother, and when Raghav and Gayatri are almost out the door, he screams out Chachu – stoppping everyone in their tracks. Raghav smiles through his tears, and Komal immediately hugs her son happily, overwhelmed here. Raghav starts to step in towards Krish, but Gayatri stops him, and tells him he’s not a part of the family anymore. And Raghav comes to a standstill. Gayatri goes over to Krish, and the little boy struggles as he tells her that it’s not Raghav that’s bad, it’s Papa. Gayatri is confused, and Komal gets all wary, while Raghav is standing in the back trying to get his nephew to not say anything.
Gayatri asks Komal what Krish is talking about and even Jahnvi is really confused. Raghav is clearly hurt to see everything happening. (And here we have it…more drama. o.o)
Precap: The lawyer says that Viraj can get out of jail quickly if it can be proved that Viraj is mentally unstable. And Viraj looks at him angrily. standing up as the lawyer tells him that once this is proven, then rather than being in jail, he’ll be at a mental hospital. Viraj slaps him, knocking him off the chair because he called him crazy.
