Dhadkan Zindagi Ki 24th February 2022 Written Episode

The Episode starts with Vikrant seeing the OT table. He recalls Aditi’s words. Chakravorty says I knew that Vikrant’s condition isn’t fine, I can’t digest that he can make such a mistake, I made a big mistake, Deepika, tell me what happened in the surgery, every step. Deepika calls Peroz to Chakravorty’s cabin. Peroz comes. Vikrant is lost. Chakravorty says no surgeon would like to face this situation, it happens sometimes, our seniors we idolize make a blunder, you were with him in OT, tell me what happened there. Peroz sees Deepika. She nods. Peroz tells everything.

Chakravorty says no doubt that it was Vikrant’s mistake, go and call him here. Deepika goes. Jamshed comes to Vikrant. He says I will handle everything, okay, but you have to listen to me, whatever happened in OT, you won’t say anything about that, are you listening to me, it can come in malpractice case, it will defame the hospital and ruin your hospital, there is no coming back from that, do you understand, just do what I say, I will ask the legal team and tell you, you just say those words. She says Jamshed is cornering Vikrant, there are upto something. Chakravorty says he is trying to cover up his blunder, are you alright, is there dizziness. He says you did. She says you remember, what will you do, who will handle you now, who will hold your hand and say its okay, its not your mistake.

Jamshed says you won’t accept that its your negligence, you have tried your best to save Shitij, yes? Do you understand? Vikrant nods. Jamshed says good, come with me. Nikhil talks to Shitij’s parents. They say we want to take Shitij home. Nikhil says the surgeons here are fantastic, nothing will happen to Shitij, I want to see Shitij in games, we will go for a walk and maybe we see Shitij also. They go.

Vikrant and Jamshed come. Shitij’s dad asks is the surgery done, can I take my son home. Vikrant says sorry but we couldn’t save Shitij. Shitij’s mum Sheela cries and asks what did you do. Vikrant says I have done my best. Shitij’s dad Oberoi asks why did you take him for the surgery, what happened, what did you do. Vikrant says we tried our best, sorry. Ansari looks on. Oberoi says I demand an answer, what happened in the surgery. Nikhil sees Vikrant’s hand shaking. He asks how did Shitij die, you have to tell me the truth, you look regretful, Shitij’s parents have a right to know it, why couldn’t you save him. Vikrant says massive bleeding started, I looked at her and she said I can’t save Shitij. Nikhil asks who did you see, who told that to you. Vikrant says I couldn’t save him, I killed him. Deepika, Chakravorty and Sia come there. Oberoi holds Vikrant’s collar and threatens him. Jamshed signs Deepika to take Vikrant. Vikrant says sorry. Jamshed says we are sorry, we know it happened wrong.

Isha comes to Peroz. She says it was sad. Peroz says we pretend that we are not scared just to stay in control, Vikrant is an alpha surgeon, if this can happen with him, then it can happen with me too. She says you will perform better than him, you don’t prove that you are the best, you think of others first and then yourself, you are not a narcissist like him. They eat chips. Deepika asks Vikrant to calm down. Peroz comes. Vikrant says surgery was going good, everything went wrong in a second, I killed a young guy. Deepika says calm down, you are going to Patna now, you need to take some time off. He says he was fine, I killed him. She says it was a case of negligence.

He says I m the chief surgeon, I know what I did, I killed my patient, I m one of the best trauma surgeons, how can I make such a big blunder, I m not a great surgeon, I m nothing, I thought I m the best, my work is to save people but I killed my patient. She says you are a good person and a great surgeon, you intended to save him, you can’t afford to make this mistake again, you have PTSD, you need to heal, until then you can’t practice, give yourself some time, you lost your wife, you have no one here, take time, you are the best trauma surgeon, your license will get cancelled, your dream will be ruined, try to understand. He says I have to take care of myself. Abhay calls her and tells about Aparna’s case. Deepika asks Vikrant to take care. She asks Peroz to keep an eye on him. Sia says being ambitious isn’t wrong. He says yes, if a person becomes bad then whats the use. She says it depends on us, we don’t have to kill humanity to keep ambition alive, we can correct ourself. He says I will do that. Deepika and Abhay check Aparna. Chakravorty says we are very sorry. Oberoi says this should have not happened, we were planning Shitij’s home coming, we were so happy but now… you have given his case to Vikrant. Chakravorty says I promise you, he will be penalized for his mistake. Jamshed says we request you to not defame the hospital. Oberoi scolds them.

He says the world should know this, hire your best legal team, I will see to it that FMS shuts down for good, but now I have to prepare for Shitij’s funeral. He goes. Nikhil is on call. Jamshed comes. He says I m really sorry, I know your trauma, you are like Oberoi’s family, I wanted a small favor from you. Nikhil looks at him. Aparna’s husband asks Deepika about Aparna’s case. Deepika says there are complications in rare cases, I know her case, we have to change line of treatment midway, there won’t be negligence, trust me. Abhay comes and updates her. She says we are in control.

Nikhil says you want me to not tell anyone what happened here and I ask my childhood friend to not complain against FMS. Jamshed says Vikrant was in trauma. Nikhil says he should have been here as a patient, why did you let him do the surgery, I won’t talk to Oberois, they lost Shitij, its their wish what they do. Deepika goes to Aparna. Jamshed says you were right, I m firing Vikrant. Chakravorty asks what are you saying. Jamshed says you always think I do wrong, really. Chakravorty says Vikrant has PTSD, we should give him leave and send him for treatment, he needs time to heal. Jamshed says Oberois lost their son, they want some kind of payback for sure, Vikrant loves his career, Oberois will get peace when Vikrant loses his career, an eye for an eye. Chakravorty says an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, you want to ruin Vikrant’s career for your benefit. Jamshed says I m fed up of this, I admit I m a bad man, I don’t care, you and your team made this blunder, why didn’t you send Vikrant off work, a patient died because of him, I m trying to minimize the result of your mistake. Chakravorty says you are right, I m sorry, its my mistake, I should have send him on leave before.
Deepika checks Aparna’s reports and shares it with Abhay. Peroz is with Vikrant. Vikrant says it will be very disappointing for you, I m really sorry. Peroz says no, you are the same surgeon for me even now, I feel inspired by you. Vikrant says I will take care, as I promised Deepika, I feel fired, I want to sleep, can you get water for me. Peroz says sure and goes. Vikrant sees Aditi again. He says I can’t do it now.

She asks him to come. He goes to her and rests on her shoulder. He says I can’t believe myself, I don’t know where I m and what am I doing. She says I know what mistake you did. He says yes, but I don’t know how to fix it. She says sometimes things get too spoiled that it can’t get fixed, nothing can happen now, its too late. Deepika says Aparna is stable now. She sees the staff running somewhere. She goes to see. She sees Peroz trying to break Vikrant’s cabin door. She runs to see Vikrant. She gets shocked seeing the blood flowing out.

They try to get inside. They break the door and get in. They see Vikrant’s hand bleeding. They rush Vikrant to the ER. She asks Peroz to book the OT. Chakravorty says you won’t be doing his surgery. She asks why, I can do it. He asks her to leave. He goes to operate Vikrant. Peroz comes out of the OT. He says Vikrant is out of danger. Sia says thank God. Ansari says one who rises falls down, every balloon falls down, I was wrong to think that Vikrant is perfect, its nonsense, he is a human, ego and illusion break a person, I don’t want to become Vikrant, I m fine as Wasim. He goes. Sia looks on.

Deepika stays worried. Nikhil calls her. He asks is Vikrant okay. She says no, he is not okay, I should have realized before, don’t know what was I thinking. He says you aren’t responsible for his fragile mind. She says you don’t know right and wrong. He says you help him, you crossed your limits to make him feel better, why do you think he is your responsibility. She says you don’t know our history, don’t comment on it. He says that’s the problem, you don’t blame yourself for his weakness. She says I should support someone in weak moment. He says support but don’t feel guilty for his actions. Isha says you behaved brave in trauma room, what happened. Peroz says I feel shaken up, Vikrant is a senior surgeon, he tried to take his life, its not a joke, he couldn’t handle this, he had much pressure on him. Isha asks did the pressure end by his suicide attempt. He says its easy to save others’ life but hard to end own life. She says don’t glorify it. They argue.

She says life is precious, when we save patient’s lives, we feel so happy, we should feel the same gratitude for our own life. He smiles and asks are we arguing. She says no way. He says I have to go to Deepika. He goes. Chakravorty says Dr. Ali will monitor Vikrant. Deepika says I can’t take his responsibility, I just can’t, he has to understand it himself. He says I agree, if you do everything then he will depend on you and use you. She goes. Ansari sits in darkness. Sia comes. She asks are you okay. He says yes, I wanted to talk to you, I thought of Vikrant’s suicide attempt, I analyzed my life, my life was totally wrong, I did wrong with you, I have to do right now, I have to make myself right, I have to become a good doctor for the locality people, I don’t want to become a famous surgeon like Vikrant, I just want to help my people, I will leave FMS and work in the locality clinic. She cries. He wipes her tears and jokes. Nurse comes to call him. he says its time to save lives, come.

Vikrant opens eyes and looks around. Chakravorty checks him. He says you have weakness in wrist, I will check the chart once. Vikrant says you have seen it before. Chakravorty says I m sorry, I should have stopped you from work. Vikrant says I m sorry, I want life to win over death, what did I do. Chakravorty asks him to accept the truth. Nikhil asks Abhay to tell Deepika to schedule the surgery today, the biotube has come. Abhay says I don’t think she will do it today. Deepika asks him to book OT. He asks are you sure, don’t you want to be with Vikrant by taking leave. She says no, I m sure. He goes. Peroz, Sia and Abhay meet the family suffering from food poisoning. The couple starts fighting. Deepika says I should have not supported Vikrant so much that he doesn’t do anything on own, you were right. Nikhil says yes, I rest my case. She says I like to hold myself responsible. He says to take credit for everything, habits can change. She says environment has to change for it. He says welcome to Miditech. She says just 6 months. He says done, if you start liking NSM, then maybe you change your decision. She says I will send someone to you now. She goes. Jamshed says Mr. Oberoi Vikrant tried to attempt suicide, you still want to sue him. Vikrant and Chakravorty come and meet Oberoi. Vikrant says I m leaving this job, my profession and career, I m getting my medical license cancelled, I m sorry. He asks Jamshed to get him blacklisted. Oberoi says I can never forgive you for your negligence, but I will say all the best for your future life, you aren’t fit for practice, none should die because of you. He leaves. The couple fights a lot. Peroz asks them to calm down. Abhay and everyone look on. Ansari asks them to stop it. Vikrant calls to ask about Deepika. He packs his bag. Suman calls him and asks are you fine. He says promise me, you won’t tell anyone, nothing is fine, I tried to end his life but got saved, I m coming back forever. She cries. She asks are you okay. He says no, I have stress, my mental health isn’t fine, I have to get fine, I m coming back, I m leaving medical practice, I was mistaken that I save lives, I wanted people’s help to save myself. Suman says I m really sorry to scold you. He says I m sorry too. He cries.

Sia says your reports have come, listen once. Ansari shouts shut up. He starts fighting with Peroz and Sia. He signs them. They all shout. The couple stops them from fighting. Ansari says you all don’t have food poisoning, it’s the poison filled in your heart. Abhay says you can talk well with each other. Sia says we all try to take revenge on the person who hurts us, we don’t heal that way. Ansari says we can do work with love, why to fight. Abhay says just say sorry and not fight. Ansari says you all just have acidity, you will be fine. The girl asks Peroz for his number. He says focus on family. Isha says I will give his number. The juniors go to meet Chakravorty.

Vikrant comes. Abhay says we are relieved that you are fine. Vikrant says thanks, you all have saved my life, thanks a lot, you have supported me a lot in my life’s low phase, I can never forget this, I want to say thanks and sorry also for letting you all down, so I m leaving FMS and this profession, I m quitting. They ask what. Vikrant says I should do this, I have learnt to take care of my colleagues and juniors, my patients, I can do this when I heal my mental health, so I m leaving FMS. Chakravorty says I support his decision, doctors deal with much pressure, best way to deal with stress is to switch off, we have to balance out our extreme emotions. Vikrant says thanks, take care of yourselves, talk when you have stress, its imp for a doctor’s mental health to be good, all the best, I hope you take care of yourself and your patients, thanks. Peroz says we are lucky to get you as a mentor. Abhay says we had difference of opinions, but I learnt a lot from you. Sia says yes, we learnt a lot from you. Vikrant hugs everyone. Ansari goes. Vikrant says I have a last imp work.
