Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev 8th October 2012 Written Update

Shiv is determined to make Kartikeya ready for the war!

Shiva tells Nandi that he needs him to prepare Kartikeya for the fight, for which he has to do a significant work.
After hearing the job Nandi refuses, but Shiva says that it is his order.
Where as Takki is deep in his penance.
All the devtas again discuss the issue with Vishnuji at Vykunth.

Vishnuji asks Indr dev to have patience and think positively. With the warning that there will be problems and which are nothing before Shiv n Parvati.

Back at Kailash, Devi Parvati is njoying her motherhood at last. Kartikeya is fed by the hands of Annapurna herself.
A tiger roars outside the cave…as devi Parvati asks Kartikeya to stay back in the cave and stands to go out, to her horror she finds the tiger already inside the cave.

Devi Parvati stands between the tiger and KArtikeya in order to save her child from the animal. (What a joke! Why do they always show Devi Parvati in poor light- as weak n who needs a knight in shining armor around her )

As the beast advances, devi Parvati is worried abt Kartikeya, where as our kido is curios and brave at the same time to fight the animal.
Then all of a sudden the tiger jumps(err.. leaps) on them and the next moment we see Kartikeya fighting the animal.
Now devi Parvati in her rage was about to take her rudr roop.. that moment Mahadev appears she instantly calms down then Mahadev gestures her to stay back.
Parvati devi gives a ‘WHY NOT’ expression… (Awesome expressions by Mohit n Sona.)

Then Kartikeya fearlessly fights the tiger and throws it a side. Seeing this both mommy n daddy dearest feel proud.
Mahadev, now calls ‘Nandi’ ; The tiger was none other than Nandi himself.. umm
Nandi apologies to them and says that he was only following Mahadev’s order.
Parvati mata questions Mahadev about what was all that about?

As Kartikeya turns towards his parents, Shiva tells to Kartikeya that he had tthis very doubt that why was only he selected to save the world? Also thought that he was not capable of fighting the asur!

Shva says, that he leaving all the doubts and inhibitions back got ready to fight the beast to save his mother.
Maahdev explains to his son that we all are above these words.. our experience define us!
He kneels down holding his son in his arms, he explains him that he must see Takki as a warrior but nor a terrible demon.
Shiv assures that he would be there to teach Kartikeya the rules of warfare and also that every bodies blessings would be with him.
A responsible and sensible father says that its upto him now to make his pick and that they would be waiting for his decision.
Kartikeya says that he wont wait! (Kiddos confidence gets boosted up!)
Shiva has a smile onm his face.. as if he knew what would have Kartikeya’s decision be.
(Mahadev… I dnt think still has that charm.. sorry to say but I feel there is some thing left out.. koi kami hai… maybe in the script.. I dnt find a single flaw from the actors, tech or direction side!)
Shiva says that tomorrow after the sun rises.

Shiva is chanting ‘Om Vishnave Namaha’
Where as Parvati stands by him pondering n worried over Kartikeay’s approval of the training to fight the demon.

Parvati devi then asks Mahadev why was he chanting the mantr of ‘Narayan’. Shiv says that he always chant the same thing.
Parvati says that Brhma and Vishnu are the first two among three murti (Trinity) . Shiv replies that Brhma creates the world and the world is maintains- sustained by Vishnu and I just destroy it!
And if anything is going to happen, then it is not possible to know about it prior completely. Once the event happens then we get to understand the significance of it.

Though Brhma is the source for creation, but he keeps the complete knowledge of destruction he meditates and chants my mantra.

Vishnu though is the sustain-er of this world keeps the knowledge of creation and thus he meditates upon Brhma dev.
And nobody can know the life that is been lived before the death; that is why I meditate upon Narayan.

To get worried for the child is natural; but if this worry hinders the growth of the child it is not right.

Indr dev says that it is very difficult to understand the leelas of Mahadev, and from now on Kartikeya is being trained under the guidance of Mahadev. An over confident Indr dev shouts TAkki’s name saying that his end is near.

At that moment Naradji with terror on his face cries ‘TARKASUR!!’
Indr dev terrorized with that name turns back at once.
Good to see our old Naradji back! awesome scene.

On seeing no one there with their daunted thopde Naradji asks why do they feel scared hearing Takki’s name how can he come there he would be in his penance to woo Brhma dev, besides he would have been well know with the fact that Mahadev would guide Kartikeya in becoming a great warrior!

Parvati dev comes to Shiv with a bowl, she says that from that day onwards Kartikeya has to endure the pain and go beyond them… becoming a fearless, courageous and great warrior.

She asks Mahadev to teach KArtikeya how to withstand the pains n wounds that he has during the war.

Parvati devi requests Mahadev to take the bowl containing medicinal paste for Kartikeya, so that whenever he gets injured he would apply it.
Shiv says that a mother’s love is the best medicine and healing balm for a son.

Kartikeya’s training starts… he chants ‘Om Namaha shiv’ and does Surya Namasakar.

With the first rays of light from the sun.. a new chapter begins.

Precap:
‘Dar ke aagey jeet hai’ that’s right Shiv indirectly teaches this to his son.. He asks Kartikeya to jump off the cliff.. Kartikeya refuses to do so saying that if he does, he wont stay alive.
Mahadev says that he has to go beyond the fear. Who cant even face his fears, how would he save an entire world.
