Devon ke Dev…Mahadev 8th July 2012 Written Update

So Parvati is back with her Shravana kind of handle with the pot…She is almost at the Shivlinga when some brahmin and his son give her a call…the son is clearly dying in thirst and the brahmin tells her to give water to his son and save his life…
She tels him that it is Mansarovar water and she has brought it for Mahadev…the Brahmin does chance pe dance and tells her that this is the same water that would cure his son…Parvati just looks on…

Maina asking how will Mahadev come here (when you stop behaving like a chameleon Kabhi Shivling bahar phenko…kabhi…parvati Mahadev ke saath shaadi kar lo how about getting some mental stability)
Maina tells Himavan that Mahadev is not coming for Parvati and hence they should get her married to Naga Prince…and Himavan scolds her (Good going…Wifey Pagla gai hai!!)…and tells her that Parvati is born for Mahadev and he cannot get her married to Naga prince…

Parvati on this side tells the brahmin that she would give the water to the Brahmin and says that her devotion is not as important as saving the life of the boy…and that she has enough faith in her love and devotion that she would go again to Mansarovar and get the water (Taaliyaan and Seetiyaan for Parvatii…Mahadev…aap toh gaye)..she mentally apologizes to Mahadev and makes him drink the water…the boy gets alright and says that it is because of her devotion that inspite of the fact that his thirst has been satisfied , she still has water in the pot…the brahmin blesses her that she has been born for the betterment of the world…and that she will always get what she wants in life…Mahadev is watching this whole thing from behind Parvati…

Parvati leaves with a smiling face and we see that the Brahmin and his boy were actually N & N aka Narad and Nandi…

Himavan is paraying Mahadev when he and Maina hear a blast…they see a sea of army from the windows (IT is an amazing cinemotography…you actually are impressed with the army strength)
NagRaaj and Takku’s (Tarkasur’s) Changu Mangu..aka Takku’s sons are there with the army and Nagaraja is having doubts on their actions..whether it is right…but both Changu mangu just smile evilly…

N and N come to Mahadev and tell them that Parvati has passed the test with flying colours…(finally it is time to give her her Master’s degree and surrender your (Mahadev’s) Bachelor’s degree.)..I mean they are trying to tell Mahadev that Parvati is fully eligible for being his wifey…Mahadev in deep thoughts…(bechare Mahadev is thinking…Bhaag ke jaaun toh jaaun kahan??? Ab mujhe shahid honey se kaun bachayega)

Nagaraja and his whole army right inside the hall and there the fighting takes inside palace (different sets ke paise bachao abhiyaan…This is what I miss from the initial episodes…the grandeur of the sets..the magnificent and the large scale bonanza…that we got…I so miss it)

Himavan sees Vidyunmaali and his smiling battisi and understands how come Nagaraja has such large army..Vidhyunmaali flashes his battisi again and tells him that he has to comply wiht his promise and get Parvati married to Nagraj’s son…Maina flees the scene seeing this (Pativrata naari Chameleon acting is jaari)
Parvati is about to do abhishek on the Shivlinga and N & N are giving running commentaries again…seeing that now the pooja will be over and Maatey will be now real Maatey

And there comes Maina.(hey Bhagu…It is a wonder that Nandi did not take her by his horns..so illtimed was her entry)..blaming Mahadev (Oh now that is a surprise) and telling Parvati that Nagaraja has made her father prisoner…Parvati tells her not to blame her God, and that nothing will happen when Mahadev is there with them and she walks off without hte Abhishek but with the Shivlinga n her hands…with Maina following…

Nandi is upset that Parvati walked off without the Abhishek and Mahadev gives him a look and disappears from there…Narad tells him that this time it is not Parvati’s test but Mahadev’s…

Takku in his topless Mahal and wondering why Mahadev did not give him straight and simple boon of Amaratva..but he had to give it in this twisted way…and hence he will remain unmarried whole his life…

Vidyunmaali has Himavan tied in some filmy fashion…and is about to kill him…When Parvati comes in with the Shivlinga…

Nagaraja is having second thoughts seeing the Shivlinga in Parvati’s hands and wondering I am the king of Nagas and I am going against Mahadev??? (Dimaag ke batti jali jali jali!!)…Parvati tells the ChanguMangu to free Himavan…Changu (Vidyunmali) tells him that he will free him, only after Parvati gets married to Nagraja’s prince…Parvati agrees…Mahadev is in deep meditation somewhere (Ab ye time hai meditation karne kaMahadev…yahan pe we thought you would take another dress change and fight the goons and carry Parvati in the sunset in your arms but nah…you had to go and sit in Meditation now I am going to turn a cry baby like our Parvati here)

Himavan tells her that she cannot do this…Parvati tells him that Mahadev is everywhere…here and in Paatal…
Nagaraj says that he cannot make MAATA Parvati her daughter in law…
(Himavan is like…E lo ek aur chameleon>?? Thank God I did not make him my Samadhi (daughter’s in law) warna kitney chameleons hotey meri family mein)

Takku’s army chief kicks him and tells him that he has gone mad…and gives orders to get Paalki ready for PArvati…and Paalkhi came right there…(I mean they are gonna complete the whole thing in this palace) Parvati sits on it…and tells Mahadev that she has given her responsibility to him and every blame on her, he will be an equal recipient…Narad also tells Mahadev that whatever will happen to Parvati today, you are to be equally blamed Mahadev as she has made you her other half in every matter of her life…

The soldiers are trying to life the Paalkhi as Parvati starts chanting ‘Namah Shivay’…but they cant lift it…(Uselss fellows…Takku..you are surrounded by useless fellows and you are dreaming of Amaratva…first get your army in order )

Changu (Vidhyunmaali) orders the WHOLE of Asur Army to come forward and help lift the paalkhi (Soldiers must be saying…we are soldiers..not cooliesSaari duniya ka boj hum nahi uthhatey)

( Finally a break…A whole half an hour without break.,..Ktna likhna padta hai)

Break ke baad…Himavan ke Mahal mein Bhoochaal!!!

Parvati is still chanting and the earth starts shaking (Poor Himavan is seemingly doing disco dance with his hands up in the air) and the Shivlinga is emitting rays…

Changu (Vidyunmaali) has had enough of it and he blows his nose and chants a mantra and there comes another cartoon……I mean another big animal…something like a rhino…and orders him to kill Parvati..(The animal is expected to kill Parvati?? It can hardly walk!!!)

Maina in the struggle to get free gets banged on her head and falls unconscious…Himavan who has been freed out of the chains because of the earthquake …tries to protect Parvati also gets his head banged and falls unconscious…That rhino like something approaches Parvati and there Mahadev gets mad and wham…his Trishul comes here and kills the big Rhino And then they show Mahadev getting angry (What music was that?? Hee Ha Ho HA Straight from Sarkar …Saam Daam dand bhed)

Parvati is still in meditaion and VidyunMaali attacks her with a spear and it hits Parvati

and she falls down…and Changu Mangu and Company start laughing like sidekicks…when they feel invisible punches…and fall irhg on the floor…Mahadev comes right in (Wah wah sun li meri Mahadev ne *dhinka chinka*!!

They see mahadev and flee the place with their tails inside their legs But Mahadev drags them back…(Literally…it was so fun)

Shukracharya suddenly opens his eyes from meditation and resolvs to save them and appears before Mahadev and save them…he pleads on his behalf and sorry on their behalf… and scolds them for being behalf (Kya Nautanki hai…It felt lik e such a drama…Shukraji…hyou should have come before this had happened…)

Mahadev says that they have done something which is unforgivable ..but because of the request from a Guru like you…I am letting them go…(No doubt that Mohit was spot on in his expressions of anger..but there was something vital missing..not in his expressions…but in the overall scenario…I mean this is all we get when Parvati has been fatally attacked)

But the later scene made up for it…Mahadev turns back and sees Parvati lying on the ground dead to the world…and he walks towards her …in utter daze and grief…all the while having flashbacks of chhoti Parvati playing with Damru and announcing to the world that Mahadev is her husband…and the grown up Parvati and her devotion and dedication..their first meet and the later situations…her firm belief and unwaivering faith on him…(Mohit was super…)

He sits next to her on hunches and puts his hand on her forehead and asks for forgiveness…that he was late…he gives her a promise by taking her hand in his ..that he will accept her…

Precap : What!!! Why am I doing this??? I should have asked for something else today..because I got everything that I wished for…I mean we have Mahadev carrying unconcious Parvati in arms and telling her that now her last test will begin and he will be her Guru..guiding her all the way to him
