The episode began with Himavan telling Parvati that he has arranged for water from the Mansarovar.Parvati insits that she has to do it herself.Maina asks why does she have to undertake so many hardships for Mahadev.Parvati says that that he has everything,she can only please him with her Tapasya can please him,and whatever she is doing is for her happiness itself.Parvati is about to leave when Himavan makes a contraption(a kanwar) for Parvati to hold the pots.Parvati smilingly leaves as Himvan and Maina get emotional.
Parvati is shown walking through the Himalayas barefooot,chanting “Om Namah Shivah”(Shiva Stuti plays in the background-its an extended version)
At the Samshan Nandi asks Mahadev how much will he test his Maata,he will move mountians to divert all the water to Parvatis shivling.Mahadev tells him not to do so-it will result in calamity,Nandi asks isnt Mahadevs constant refusal of Parvati isnt doing the world any-better.Mahadev says she has to go through Tapasya and have a stongwill power through out,if she fumbles,we wont marry her.Nandi requests Mahadev to go and test Parvati himself-Mahadev has a tiny smile(cheeky smile by Mohit-just perfect!).
Parvati on her journey stops to drink water when Mahadev appears in front of her in the form of a prince.Mahadev calls out to her but Parvati ignores him(Ha ha!!!).Mahadev asks her where is she going with the kawar,Parvati replies to get bathing water for her husband from the Mansarovar.Mahadev starts laughing and asks her is her husband so dirty that he needs water from the Mansarovar to bathe.Parvati calmly replies that her husband is so pure and divine that she fears that she will make him impure of touching him-she has to make herself pure for him.Mahadev nudges her on saying she is so beautiful,she can marry anyone and is illusioned.Parvati smiles sweetly and says that she thought about it too,but says that no one other that Mahadev can be her husband.Mahadev looks stunned(i.e clean bowled-but Mohits expressions rocked) as Parvati quietly leaves.
Mahadev transforms himself back into his orignal form,as Narad Muni arrives and asks why didnt he stop her.Mahadev says he wasnt here to stop her but Mahadev says he didnt come to stop her,but came to test her.Narad Muni says that you did test her and she left you speechless didnt she?Mahadev glares at him,and Narad muni covers up quickly.Narad Muni says that his heart recognizes Parvati and knows that Parvati is the very Sati who made him a Grihasthi and gave him happiness.Mahadev reminises all the memories of Sati,as Narad Muni asks him that if you recognize her why dont you accept her?.
Parvati reaches Mansarovar and reminises the first time she had been there(Flashbacks of Sati during her first day at Mansariovar).She sees a refection of Kailash in the water and remebers all the days she spent there in her past life(Flashbacks of Sati in Kailash shown)and says she never knew it would take her an enitre life to come back again.Parvati says she doesnt know when she will come back-but she surely will and she will start her life at Kailash all over again.Nandi sees Parvati and falls at her feet(and no surprises Nandi is crying).Parvati tells him she recognized him,and even when he disguised himself and came to enlighten her about Bhakti she still knew it was him.She asks him how all the ganas are,and all of them arrive and fall at her feet.Nandi asks her to rest and give them a chance to do do something for her.Parvati kindly refuses and says it isnt needed.Nandi feels bad an pleades with her to stay,Parvati agrees.Nandi and the Ganas bend down to wash Parvatis feet and are pained to see her wounded foot.Parvati smiles and says this isnt blood but her deficiencies and impurity that is flowing out of her body,and says that all the pain she is undergoing is only making her get closer to Mahadev(awww…)
Mahadev says he knew who Parvati was the instant he saw her,but he couldnt accept her.She has taken birth on the foundation of Satis life,but still she has undergone everything that Sati wasnt able to.He says in order to marry him and bear his child she has to by every means be divine and strong-by mind,by body and by soul,and says he will test her himself.
Narad Muni says there are two types of tests-being Nyayadhish and Guru Parikasha.In Nyayadhish the examinner hopes that the person fails,however in Guru Parikasha he hopes that the person passes.he says Mahadev has great knowlege,and requests him to be guru to Parvati and guide her.Mahadev is silent.
Precap: Parvati says that she will return to Kailash only when Mahadev will get her himself.Parvati tries to fill the pot but the water disappers each time.Tarskasur says that Mahadev will never get married and he will ensure that it doesnt happen.Mahadev opens his eyes in anger.
