Devoleena Bhattacharjee suffering from slip-disc!
The actor put her health at risk when she recently fell on the sets of the show, and it has now resulted into slip-disc…
The talented actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee who is seen playing the role of Gopi in Rashmi Sharma’s popular daily soap Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus, is suffering from slip-disc. We had reported few weeks back that the actor is suffering from a back pain as she fell on the sets of the show. It has now turned out to be slip-disk.
When we called her few weeks back she said, “Yes, I fell on the sets of Saathiya while shooting and I am suffering from a severe back pain since then. The doctors suggested to take one week bed rest but due to work issues I couldn’t do so.”
So she continued working which resulted in further harm to her back. She is now suffering from a slip-disc. On the same we spoke to her today and she said, “Well yes, the severe pain and no rest has turned into slip-disc now. My doctors say that there is a gap between my back bone. It is very painful and I have been strictly told not to work for another 2 weeks and take complete bed rest.”
However, nothing has changed for her so far. “I cannot afford to take complete bed rest and I am still working. I take alternate days off and work for only 5 to 6 hours. I only do the close-up shots and not the Master shots. Even though the doctors told me to stop working for 2 weeks, I cannot because I am the main lead and I have to be on the sets daily.”
So how does she manage? Devoleena says, “I am taking good care of myself. Even the production house people and my co-actors are looking after me while on the sets. Yes, the pain is unbearable but I have no option as I can’t even stay back home. I like working and I am addicted now hence staying back home is a difficult task. All I wish is that I get well soon.”
Well, we hope too that you get well soon!
