Delhi couple wins MTV Love School!

City-based couple Tushar and Karishma have emerged as winners of the reality TV show MTV Love School, which was hosted by actors and real-life couple Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel.

The show, which went on air on December 5 last year on MTV, featured eight real-life couples, who had to perform different tasks, including a lie detector test, couple yoga, mountain climbing, melting ice with body heat etc, designed to increase their trust level and love for each other.

The winners’ were announced on Sunday. They were awarded a trophy and a trip to Puducherry.

On the show, Upen and Karishma were seen advising couples and fixing their estranged relationships through a series of theme-based tasks crafted to assess them on everything from passion to romance to communication between the partners.

The couple said that that the winning duo was the “most complicated couple”, but they showed a lot of improvement.

“When we started with MTV Love School 10 weeks ago, all the couples were a challenge for us. We both would always wonder how to resolve their problems. Tushar and Karishma were the most complicated couple, but in 10 weeks, they showed so much of improvement, especially Karishma,” Upen and Karishma said in a joint statement.

“As their love gurus, it makes our heart smile that we have been able to help them rediscover the spark and take their love story to the ultimate high,” they added.
